My wife and I just spent a very enjoying and restful vacation in Barbados. This was a “pay as you go” not inclusive vacation so we had the delight to try out a good number of restaurants. We are both blessed to have traveled to many continents and enjoyed some fine cuisine. From our experience, Primo is likely one of the better restaurants overall at which we have been. The location itself is beautiful, modern and not crowded. The dishes are presented with a great deal of refinement and portions are reasonable (not too big, very little waste, thumbs up!). By any means Primo is not a cheap eat, but we have seen many other restaurants that do not offer this level at the same price. Overall refined meals with friendly and professional service.

Wonderful restaurant in a lovely setting on the sea with great views and if you time it right, a stunning sunset is thrown in, free of charge.
Advised the restaurant we were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a stunning table, right next to the rail on the ocean, although to be fair, all the tables look fab.
The meal was excellent, calamari and the Caribbean goujons to start followed by fish of the day and the scallops. All really good ingredients and well cooked and prepared.
Service was really nice, not rushed, even though the restaurant was busy and the staff are knowledgable.
At the end of the meal, they brought us a very pretty dessert with “Happy Anniversary” written on it, a really nice touch to end a superb meal

Beautiful location, nice atmosphere, good service, everything is right but the food for the price.

Seared scallops - do not over cook them!!!!
Chef hammered them, maybe just this one time?

Maui Maui - cooked this one well, but did not trim the fish?

Enjoyed my night, but expect the food to be spot on

We had arrived fairly late on our first night and walked into the Gap to find somewhere to eat. This particular restaurant is great because it has both a bistro and restaurant side to it.
We hadn’t booked a table but the waiter was very accommodating in finding us a table especially since the restaurant appeared fairly busy.
We weren’t bothered about ordering starters but there was plenty to choose from. My husband ordered the lamb shank and I had the mac cheese with lobster, broccoli and shrimp. Both dishes came out freshly cooked and very hot in temperature.
The waiters were very attentive and the restaurant had a nice ambience to it. Would recommend if you are staying in or are around the Gap for lunch/ dinner.

Thank missy J
