I'm not a fast food fancier but this place worth the long long wait. Roti on a fast food menu was odd but it was sure good. So many people in the restaurant was a good sign so we stopped in for a bite. We had meals there a couple of times, cheap eats
Whenever I am in Barbados the first place I hit is Chefette!
It is quick, tasty and affordable.
My favourite thing to eat in there is the burger pak where you get a beef burger and chips and then I order my favourite strawberry milkshake additionally.
The milkshake is my utmost favourite because it is thick and creamy!
Even if you don't want the fast food burger, chips etc you can always step next door to the BBQ barn where they offer steak, fish, salad, wedges, rice and peas, macaroni pie and all sorts of goodness.
You will eat off of a proper plate with proper cutlery there so that is always an option and taste real good too.
The only thing here is you have to wait but that is a sign that your food will be fresh so go on try it!
Visited Barbecue Barn where the food was quite good and the service excellent It was a most enjoyable family experience.
If you are looking for American fast food in Barbados you will not find any American franchises other than KFC and Burger King.
I was there for 2 weeks and did not know what the Chefette store was until I went in one day out of curiosity during my second week because you see it everywhere on the island. It is a local fast food restaurant that you will not find on any other Caribbean island. It is the equivalent of McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, Popeyes and Wild Wings all rolled into one. In addition for a bit of the island taste they also have roti wrap. The fried chicken is the best.
So if you are get tired of local ribs, fish cake, fish fry, jerk chicken and oxtail head for Chefette for some familiar American fast food. You will not be disappointed and the price is right.
