Very central, hotel with a friendly informal atmosphere, wonderful staff and lovely pool area. Rooms are fine, bathrooms bit small but on the whole a thoroughly enjoyable experience, would definitely return. We were on half board and food was very good, breakfast and dinner.

Such a great place - great base to explore the rest of the island from. The owners and their staff couldn't do enough for us - so welcoming, helpful and genuinely friendly. Would definitely stay there again!!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back overlook the garden and pool area

First of all, the staff that works here get 5/5 stars. They did everything to make our experience good.

But for us The hotel did not meet the expectations when we saw the pictures on the website.
Quite small rooms, rusty mirror in the bathroom, the water did not work correctly (couldnt get any cold water). And the hotel breakfast was not very interesting.

as soon as we spoke to the reception about the quality of the room, they gave us another one who was alot better.

I will still give it a recommendation thanks to The staff.

Hotel 2/5
Staff 5/5.

This was the third time we have stated in this family run hotel just outside Corfu town.
Can't say just how helpful the staff and owners are words can't describe then.
Unfortunately my wife Lexi became ill, they organised the family doctor to come and see her and assisted when later we needed an ambulance to local hospital.
The staff took us to local pharmacy, made special meals for her, brought meals round the room, they could not be more accommodating.
Towards the end of the holiday they very kindly transferred us to a massionette in the Anita Village. A gorgeous apartment with a brand new swimming pool.
Despite my wife's illness we still enjoyed our holiday and don't have the words to express our gratitude to Alex his family and all the staff.
We will certainly be returning our only problem will be deciding between the Hotel and the Village.
The other little advantage is that the family run car hire company, so if you suddenly feel like driving around the cars are on your doorstep.
Thanks again to you all.
Lexi and Ian

Stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed ourselves very much indeed.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The manager and reception staff are happy to talk to you, as is Anita who the hotel is named after. Linda the barmaid/host in the restaurant is a treasure, good with people and speaks many languages. She has a good sense of humour. The cook Christina is also friendly, and her meals are good. Some repetition with the first course, but good varied meals including chicken, pork and lamb dishes. We had swordfish on the last night. Good basic Greek cooking. Breakfast is the same each day but plenty of variety including scrambled egg and bacon. There is a machine which provides hot chocolate, various coffees and hot water for tea. I loved the Greek Yogurt and my wife loved the bread at breakfast time with cheese and ham. Suggest you opt for half board. The manager did a splendid barbeque for the Greek evening, the steak was extremely tender and the chicken was also provided but we did not have any.

Location is good, close to the walkway across the bay. There are boats on the other side to take you to Mouse Island. There is a cafe at ground level and several on a hill, from which you can view planes landing and taking off. There is a small monastery here as well, well worth a visit. Planes fly over your head and land and take off. The planes which come over the hotel are noisy but this only lasts for a few seconds and did not disturb our sleep at all. The road which passes the hotel is busy and noisy, suggest you try to get a room away from the front of the hotel.

There are bus stops into town and Benitses, a nearby seaside town which is pretty. A short walk down the road and you can source two excellent supermarkets. You will need to visit these to buy bus tickets. At the time we visited it was 1.70 euro to go into Corfu Town and 1.20 Euro to Bernitses. The blue town buses stop near to the hotel. The Green Buses which cover the island have a terminal which you can access on a bus on the way to town.

Our bed was comfortable. The shower was lovely, and they provide fresh towels each day. They do not have beach towels and also have no kettle or tea or coffee making facilities in the room. They provide shower gel and shampoo, but no soap to wash with. The wi if in the room is good, not fast but adequate for emails and social media. The free wi fi is also available by the pool and in the restaurant. We woke up early most mornings due to sunlight through the curtains, the rooms could do with black out blinds. My wife wore a sleep mask but still woke early.

A lovely relaxing break, I recommend the hotel which has chalet-like rooms. Administration on check out could have been better, we had to query the bill. We enquired about a boat trip but didn't come back and book it, yet were charged for this.

Room Tip: Back of hotel away from road, which I found noisy. Aircraft fly quickly over hotel
