First time visit to Cyprus and booked this place after reading the TA reviews. Thank you jambonian2 and the rest.
Site is located near the top end of Protaras "strip" but we didn't hear any noise from the nearest bars.
Arrived at 8pm on a Sunday night and was met by a lady who didn't speak any English but she managed to establish who we were and showed us to our single storey, semi-detached type apartment. She showed us where everything was and we quickly settled in. Usual one-bedroomed apartment facilities but all fresh and clean n blues and whites. Air con in sitting-room/kitchen and bedroom was super efficient and remote controlled. Big upright fridge freezer great for the beer and freezing water bottles as it was so hot. Lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. Apartment had patio at the front with a table and couple of chairs. We got the sun early in the morning. At 8am it was 29 degrees! There was also a back door out to a narrow strip of garden with a washing line.
Not a huge amount of clothes storage space but we managed ok. There is also a free safe provided.
I calculated that we were 30 paces from the pool terrace which he practically had to ourselves all week. I believe all 18 apartments were let, mostly with Russians with young families but they only tended to appear in the late afternoon for a swim or play in pool. Most mornings we were the only ones at the pool side. It was just like having your own back garden with swimming pool! Pool was lovely with 30 or so sun loungers which was more than enough.
There is a supermarket 2 minutes away but its not the cheapest. Ok for water but better to walk 10 minutes along the main road to the right outside the complex to a Lidl supermarket. By far the cheapest in town.
Didn't use the cooking facilities in the apartment as we ate out all the time but there was a microwave, toaster, kettle and a couple of cooker rings.
There are a few restaurants just outside the complex which we uses a few times but the main drag starts just a few minutes walk down the road. Some great places to eat. Will do separate reviews.
I would say this is by far the best apartment complex I have ever stayed on. And the smallest! We are already talking about going back next year.

Room Tip: All apartments get sun at some time of day.

Only stayed 1 night but would happily have stayed longer and return. A lovely layed out hotel with apartments around a nice pool area with a short walk to restaurants but lovely and quiet. They had a cot for my baby and a little kitchenette so we could store milk in the fridge. All utensils and was clean and tidy and freshly decorated. Two big rooms and a bathroom. Lots of fruit trees around the property and charming feel. Parking out the front and free wifi. Would recommend to anyone who wanted good value Close to but far enough away from the noise of a bustling tourist area and only a 10min max walk to the beautiful beach with its lovely promenade.

We visited protaras for a friends wedding, and booked the Flokkas primarily based on its location to the event and it's great Trip Advisor comments.

We were not disappointed.

We were in room 103, light, airy, clean and a huge balcony. We even had a partial sea view.

The site is really conveniently situated a street away from the main strip. Whilst you could faintly hear the noise from the main drag it wasn't a noise that would keep you up at night. Which is surprising based on its 5 min walk away.

The beach is only 10 -15 mins away on foot too.

This site is immaculate. All white washed and blue, a real traditional Greek feel but with modern facilities. The pool area very tranquil lots of bright pink flowers and trees framed the pool area perfectly. Giving a sense of being away from it all even though in a busy area.

We had a hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, ice trays, all the cutlery and glass wear you could need and towels and linens are changed daily.

The pool is small but well kept, sun loungers in good condition with a reasonably priced bar/restaurant also.

Air conditioning worked great and was needed as even in early June the temperature rarely dropped below 30oC.

I would recommend these apartments to couples and families.

Staff were friendly and the cleaner was fab! They happily printed off our travel docs for the return flight too.

The perfect base in protaras!

Stayed for ten nights 17th to 27th May in an upstairs one bed apartment, no 110.
Very nicely furnished in Greek style and had just been decorated ready for the busy season. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs, we made breakfasts and occasional light lunch, a full fridge freezer was a bonus. Slight problem was that the electricity supply cut off when you remove the key so we always had a large bottle of frozen water in the freezer to place in the fridge compartment to keep food fresh.
Very comfortable and big bed we both slept well, only slight problem was noise from the roof top water system which fed both our apartment and the one below.
The apartment was serviced daily and kept very clean, fresh towels and bedding were changed almost every day.
The Flokkas pool area is adequate, plenty of loungers and almost deserted during our stay. Very quiet and peaceful. We didn't use the bar or café as we spent our days away from the Hotel but it offered a snack menu and drinks which were reasonably priced.
A great little complex in a great location, extremely friendly and helpful staff who will help with any problem, something to consider is free wifi, free safe, free aircon and free pool/beach towels which we have paid considerable money for in other hotels.
Ideally located a two minute walk from the start of the strip and also a great base if you have a car. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Room Tip: All apartments are great, very spacious. We had an upstairs apartment no 110, nice view over the pool area and a distant sea view.

It is a well thougt-out appartment complex with 2 to 4 units in a block. It is a few steps away from the main street with all the restaurants, bars, farmacies and souvenir shops, and about 15 minutes to walk to the wonderful fig tree bay. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially the night watch. In spring, there are only a few people renting appartments, so you have plenty of space and the full choice of sunbeds around the pool. The matresses are outstanding, we sleep very well, and water is flowing surprisingly strong in the shower, almost a massage. Unique: the owner has built an little chapel on the premises - this has its own little charm and has a deeper meaning to us. The flokka appartment hotel makes our holidays esay-going, relaxing, no ties and special clothes, no time limits to observe. That is how we love it!

Room Tip: in spring. chose an appartment near the pool and near the wonderfully blossoming lemon and orange trees!
