Just come back from a weeks stay at Anais Bay.This is a small and quite 0ld fashioned hotel which we liked very much. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.
The room we stayed in was not very big but then you don't go on holiday to sit in your room so we weren't bothered.(we are 3,myself husband and 9 year old son). The rooms get cleaned every day although the towels only got changed once for the week. there is a safe in the room which you have to pay for(a bit cheeky I think) we just kept our things locked in the case instead which was fine. There is tea/coffee in the room when you arrive but this doesn't get replenished which I found a bit odd.
As other people have mentioned the breakfast was not brilliant, the toaster didn't toast very well,i would've liked a bigger choice of fruit and the hot English breakfast according to my husband was more miss than hit! the bacon not crispy etc, however that being said, there was always plenty of it so we didn't starve!
The pool area and bar is very pretty but as others have said not very big so did get a bit crowed during the day and yes the towels were on the beds by 7.30 in the morning, this happens everywhere though so can't really knock the hotel for it.We like to go to the beach anyway it wasn't a problem for us.
The bar area in the evening is a quiet calm place to have a drink when you've come back in from the very busy restaurant/bar strip up the road.like a little oasis of calm! If you like loud and lively this isn't the place for you.
We ate out every night so can't comment on the food in the restaurant.
We had a late pick up the day we left(7.45 pm) and you have to leave the room by 11.30 am,so you can pay 40 euros to keep the room or you can leave your cases in the luggage room downstairs, which is what we did, there are toilets right next to it which are really clean and spacious to get cleaned up and changed for the long journey home.....
Overall a lovely little hotel, perfectly situated for the beach,i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing place to come back. to after a full day out.If you are someone who likes big hotels with umpteen bars, pools, bells and whistles then this is not the place for you.

Stayed in a 3rd floor (top floor) very large double bed with stunning sea view room. We were happy with our room which we did pay extra for but worth every penny. Very quiet room even though on occasions you could smell cigarette smoke coming from corridor or through the vent via the bathroom which was very over powering and unpleasant at times. Clean bedding once a week and towels changed whenever needed to be but sometimes smelt very musky. The room was very clean and shower was lovely, very powerful and spacious. The air con was adequate and fridge very handy which we paid extra for but definitely worth it as we liked to sit on balcony in the evening before and after going out with a drink. The storage was good and approximately 10 good wooden hangers along with shelves and drawers. The balcony had two plastic chairs with small table and open so no privacy but not a problem. The sun beds were comfy and plenty of them, no towels on beds before 7:30 am, each pair had big umbrella for shade. Pool was very refreshing and large enough. Pool area very clean as was whole of hotel. Staff all work hard. Breakfast was absolutely fine and edible (didn't try the meat) The area was good, plenty of restaurants to choose from even though we only ate in three (Gaskos, Nautical and Kalamies) Beach was nice sun beds, shade all €2.50 each, sea was safe for children, shallow and calm. Water sports on the beach along with boat trips. We went on the Aphrodite for €10 each and was brilliant! Booked this through the reception. Hired a car for three days also through reception €153 which was handy to explore other areas (fully comp) There were all different ages from 4-80 so not exclusive to the over 60's! There was however only a very small "baby" pool and as children like to spend long periods of time in the pool it's not really ideal for children as they would get very bored just hanging around this hotel! It is small even though perfectly fine for the adult looking for a more chilled out relaxing stay providing families don't spoil the environment with bored unruly children.

Just returned from a two week stay at Anais Bay. Stayed in apartments at the back of hotel.
Absolutely fantastic holiday- apartments spacious and clean. Brilliant location only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Prenera itself quite quiet but half hour walk
Or short bus ride to the busier Protaras.
Everyone at the hotel were so friendly and helpful.
Must give a special shout out to Wayne and Ella who run the apartments poolside bar/cafe- absolutely brilliant couple, they could not do enough for us.
Will definitely return next year.

We have stayed in the hotel and thought we would give the apartments go big mistake air con what a rip off they charged for air con in the bedroom we had cockroches in the apartment .
Wouldn't use the apartments again but would go back to the hotel as it is much cleaner all in all we had a good time breakfast was buffet but very good plenty of places to eat sizzlers do a fantastic steak nights pub cheap and cheerful.

Room Tip: Avoid the apartments number 38 to 41
