When we arrived I was a little disappointed with the reception area, seemed very dated. Our room, on the 4th floor, was slightly better however. It wasn't spotlessly clean but the bed sheets and towels were always clean which was the main thing for us as we didn't plan on spending much time in our room. We had a view of the pools and outdoor area from our balcony, we could also see the sea in the distance which was really nice!
The family in the shop over the road from the hotel were absolutely lovely, as were all the locals! The hotel owner/manager was also very friendly and took time to chat to us.
We pretty much had the pool area to ourselves most days as there were few Brits staying at the hotel, the majority were Russians who we were told 'needed an invitation to leave their rooms' this didn't bother us as walking around the local area, we found the majority of the Russian holidaymakers extremely rude and unfriendly with no manners!
Mojito restaurant is an absolute must, the food is amazing but you HAVE to pre book as they are fully booked every night, all night! We also enjoyed the food at the only fools bar and the Chinese restaurant opposite; all located down the road from the hotel.
