Not quite sure what the recent viewers who have posted have to complain about, must have stayed somewhere else.
Stayed here recently and had a wonderful 4 day break. Had one of the themed rooms and it was certainly quirky and surprising when we went into the room.
Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Hotel is in a great location lovely village with two great pubs within minutes, the butchers is down to earth and does great pies, the kings arms is a little pretentious but does lovely food.
Great area for exploring villages and a 20 minute drive to Stratford although you can get a bus there from just outside the hotel, plus a morrisons across the road for your daily papers and odds and sods.
Only down side was there was a coach party staying there for the first couple of days so breakfast had to be ordered and was cold on arrival, after they left there was a buffet style whcih was plentiful and hot.
Outside patio area could do with a good weeding as it spoils the place.
Great local butchers down the road with fantastic meat produce and pies, if you are travelling by car, worth a visit before you go home.
Definitely stay again.More
