Overall good - price / value also very good . But the clients were all 65+, very boring atmosphere and the lady running the service did not really look for a family ( we reserved mentionig a 5year old child). So if you are old or boring...great choice - families rather eat elsewere

This restaurant is a little hard to find but it sure is worth searching for it! The chef prepares you a great meal. Time and again. It is always special and delicious!!

Located on the outskirts of the perched village of Fayence & surrounded by vineyards is La Table d'Yves, Michelin listed.
This is a dining experience with exceptionally created & imaginative food.
Be prepared to dig a little deeper into your pocket to sample the delicious cuisine.
We chose the inspiration 3 course menu at 47€
The garden terrace has generously spaced tables allowing a more intimate experience and conversation can be exchanged most notably with out the annoying canned music that seems to accompany in many restaurants.
The menu is available online & easily found on google search.
There is a tolerance for dogs, I saw one family pet the evening we dined there.
The choice of wines is quite extensive & Cote de Provence from local vineyards is in evidence, many of which are delicious, obviously local Rosé, light crisp & nicely chilled is my choice during the balmy summer evenings.

English is spoken.
Enjoy.

Table d’Yves serves excellent food, amongst the best in the neighbourhood. Guests inlude locals enjoying a nice meal and non-locals having a coke with their meal. Only 4 stars because of that.

We spent 10 days in Fayence and ate out every evening. We had supper at La Table d'Yves twice and it is the only restaurant to which we gave five stars because the food is really good and the value for money is exceptional.

The first time I had the 32 € menu and ate tartare of tuna, filtet of meagre (an excellent fish that you really should Google) and a beautifully presented poached pear. All much better quality than dishes eaten elsewhere at higher prices.

On our return I moved up to the 47 € menu. I started with what they called "rosace de bœuf": beef seared in the pan, sliced carpaccio style and served with sesame oil. This was my dish of the week! Then it was scallops with wild mushrooms and chestnuts. Here was my only criticism, the "jus acidulé" was more creamy than sour. The pudding sounded odd but intriguing; stewed purple and yellow plums with clementine sorbet and foam. A good palate cleanser.

With the autumn nights drawing in, we ate indoors. The decor is all brown wood furniture with no table cloths, brown curtains and beige walls. All a bit too brown, but it is what's in the plate that counts!
