Ate/drank here every day for 2 weeks, for 3 years on holiday. Literally has the best coffee and cakes/puddings/desserts ever! You can sit on the pavement obviously and they'll come and serve you, or you can get a takeaway. Friendly staff and really good prices. Love it.

Mr Gamindos (who bears a remakable likenes to Alfred Hitchcock) presides over this busy cafe which is also an outet for the products of his bakery.

Cafe con leche and perhas a tubo of beer are the staples, served with hot croissants of slices of pizza. Alcoholic drinks come with baker-based tapas. Hot ham and cheese bunns, savouries and sweet pastries.

Catches the moring sun and a popular meeting place.

Galindos is run by the local bakery family and includes a bread shop on the premises. Fresh bread delivery constantly thoughout the day.
Consequently a seat at one of the roadise table on the extended pavement means one is likely to meet all and sundry as they either stroll by shjopping or come to buy bread.
Great meeting point, right next to the parish church and with its own parking (1 euro)
Coofe and pastries the speciality. Pizzas to order. Beers and wines.

This was our "go to" cafe for frugal dining in Orgiva, located just up the street from the town's distinctive church. Ostensibly the cafe's bread and butter (so to speak) is breakfast. They serve excellent coffee, a multitude of flavoured hot chocolates and a wide selection of pastries baked on site. But there's also a full bar downstairs, and the kitchen serves casual fare for lunch and dinner. We had an excellent light breakfast there on one occasion and stopped for pizza on two occasions. The pizza was above average -- not gourmet, but certainly better than the big chains like Pizza Hut or Dominos!

They're accustomed to tourists -- we heard a lot of English voices at other tables -- but they're popular with locals too. By and large, the staff are friendly, particularly the owner, who is a bit of a character. If you don't stop to eat, they've also got a counter where you can purchase pastries, bread and cakes to take with you.
