The cemetery is located in Bukit Larut, 2 km past the Taiping lake Gardens. This cemetery is for the Commonwealth casualties of the Japanese invasion of Malaya during the Second World War. Created by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, it is divided into two parts with the Cross of Sacrifice on the Christian section and the Stone of Remembrance on the Muslim and Gurkha section. A sad remembrance for the lives lost to war.

A very well maintained cemetery for the young men who fought for their queen and country in the colony of Malaya. My father used to be in charge of the cemetery before he migrated. He cleaned it up and organized dignitaries to visit, honour and respect those fallen.
