We were blessed to catch some fishes. We enjoyed the sunset too.
The room is chalet type with basic needs. Aircon is noisy and quite a lot of mosquitoes at night. Wanted to catch firefly but the owner says there aren't any right now. Disappointed.
Good for groups or family trips.

We wanted a resort that provide us with comfy accommodation, good food, smiling host, activities, tour & a peace of mind.
Important was the whole group of us, practically 43 of us ENJOYED.
We stayed for the night whilst a 2 days 1 night tour to muar.
Lets say its a short get away, good for couples, friends, business discussion, karaoke or just simply a good bonding session.
We break it down for all Friends leaving for Sabak AWor (First time we are here)
Stay = 60%
Food = Otak making, tea, dinner, night snacks, breakfast = 80%
Entertainment = Fishing, River cruise, bicycle rides, hot air balloon release, karaoke sessions, Otak making, Drinking session & Bonding = 90%
Host = Smiling, friendly & caring....OHH great chef too.
(Our host comprise the whole family (everybody's effort)
Not bad for a home stay - Get away.
The next time, we will do a 3 days 2 nights but Sabak Awor, one night will do.

Room Tip: Try not to get Room # K1 to K5 (nxt to Karaoke, dining) Bring mosquito spray, resort is build next to the Muar River

Peaceful place about 2 hours from JB (3 from Singapore) nestled on the banks of Muar river with some activities (Malaysian standards) for the whole family. Good for a one night stay and to get to know some rural Malay lifestyles. Hotel is good with its own seafood menu and the river cruise is good to pass the time.

Visited this place as a stop-over to Malacca. Nice family resort, strong room wifi and attentive staff. Food was good, must try the cereal prawns and local otah!

At night, head down to the relaxing boat ride take will take you down Myar River to visit the town, with the staff explaining the sites as well as some nature lesson on mangroves, nipah Palm and fiddler crabs. The ride ends with a visit to th fireflies, depending on your luck may or may not be fantastic.

I may return for a stop-over but I'll be bored with anything more than a night. Overall 3.

I went here to getaways from all the things -- and.. what do you know.. they've got "Kunang - Kunang" tour. The tours was good. The group was mostly Chinese -- so the guide took the liberty to explain in Chinese and Malay. I was fortunate that a spare team member came in the tour took care of the Malays who were smaller in group. We had fun anyway. This is my first time in Muar
