Review of Grisek Hot Spring

Grisek Hot Spring
Ranked #4 of 7 things to do in Muar
Attraction details

air panas gersek situated far from Muar town. as mentioned above, there is no place to swim but to soak your leg only. the place is well maintain and there is no charge. there are also 2 rooms for visitor to sleep at night, but you nees to bring own bed sheets, blanket and pillow case here. i was there with friends for a nite because i have work nearby.

if only you come and visit muar, its ok to come here. if purposely to visit, not worth it.

The hot-spring is OK and well-maintained. You can have a soak with your foot but you cannot swim or bath in there unlike The Lost World Tambun or Felda Hot Spring.

You will feel as good as your hometown.

This is not a place to get soaked. Like everyone mentioned, there are 3 pool rings of water but it appeared to me only the middle one is natural which is terribly hot and there is absolutely no talk about even just placing a palm on the surface just for a try.
Water within the outer 2 pools surrounding the middle get dirtier as people get in to it and leave.
It took quite an effort finding this place but left with disappointment. Good for those who'd like to explore but surely not for a dip.

Not advise for those do not have own transport.
It comes in a circle of 3 layers. Inner one which is too hot and can only dip for a few seconds, well no problem if you want to boil eggs as it's very hot. Outer is cold and middle one is not hotter than a Spa hot pool, water was also pump out from the middle one to another pool nearby for children to play. Most people use the middle one to soak leg.
Direction. Use highway E2 and exit Route 50 to Batu Pahat. At Batu Pahat, use Route 5 towards Muar. Watch out for sign indicates 4km and you have to look out on your right, once pass Esso station on the right, it should be the second right turn to a small road with an ache at the entrance of the road.
