I had a wonderful holiday here! All the staff at this small and cozy family hotel are lovely, friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Elena, Marina and all the staff for their wonderful hospitality with a smile throughout my stay ;)
The hotel is about 20 - 30 minutes by bus from Heraklion airport. My room (201) had a comfortable bed, a balcony overlooking the street and partly the sea. The room was nice, clean, equipped with air conditioning, mini fridge, TV, toilet, shower, hairdryer and kettle. Free Wi-Fi connection is sufficient for surfing the internet (download about 1 Mbit/s). Room cleaning with towel change was done every day by a very nice and smiling lady :)
The hotel has a beautiful garden with swimming pool, jacuzzis, sunbeds and a poolside bar where you can relax with a book in the shade or sunbathe. The varied breakfast buffet, also with local produce, was delicious. Dinners were served as a 4 course menu of local Cretan specialities which were an absolutely delectable taste experience - Cretan paradise!
The sandy beach of Ammoudara is about 100 meters away from the hotel. Beach chairs are available free of charge if you order drinks or food (e.g. in Full mezze). The sea was warm and clean. The stones in the sea are marked with yellow buoys. The beach and beach chairs were not crowded, except on Sunday.

The centre of Heraklion can be easily reached by public transport (line 6 or 1, you have to buy a ticket for a fee of 1,10 Euro e.g. in the nearby Crm supermarket). The public transport stop is approx. 90 metres from the hotel, directly opposite the Crm supermarket. There are plenty of shops, cafés, bars and traditional taverns in the vicinity of the hotel.
