This is a beautiful hotel right by the sea on the edge of cannigione (10-15 mins walk to centre and pontoons for boat hire). It provides a mix of self-catering villas in the gardens behind the hotel and hotel rooms. We had a sea view suite in the main hotel which had an enormous balcony/terrace including two sun loungers and separate outdoor eating area as well as air conditioned living room and bedroom plus mini-bar. Our son and his friends had one of the Type A self catering villas which was very well equipped - large fridge/freezer, BBQ, outdoor seating area, living room and air conditioned bedrooms. There is a supermarket with a very good range of choice within 10 minutes walk.
The food in the main buffet of the hotel was excellent with plenty of variety and really good quality. Also the bar snacks from the pool bar were a really good option. Service was superb - everyone was very helpful and friendly. A particularly useful service is the use of a courtesy room (air conditioned) on the day of departure for a shower and freshen up if your flight is leaving later.
Not cheap to stay there but really good quality in every respect so well worth the money. We would certainly go back if visiting northern Sardinia again.
Cannigione itself offers lots to do - we went diving three times and also hired a boat with a skipper through ClicknBoat which was brilliant - so many beautiful islands and wonderful snorkelling in the archipelago.

Room Tip: Senior sea view suite was fantastic - we had 101 and it was huge, with a fabulous view

We stayed in this hotel for a week at the end of July. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and a fantastic location. The village is a 5 minute walk and we went up most evenings for an ice cream and a look round the many stalls. Lovely atmosphere. Back to the hotel, we were half board, breakfast was lovely, the usual bacon eggs sausage along with loads of choices if you wanted continental. Dinner was buffet and although there was lots of fish there wasn’t enough meat choices. My 15 year old daughter sometimes struggled and i think a few changes might be needed. There is a restaurant upstairs with stunning views for which you paid a supplement, pizzas were lovely.
The slight downside is the pool doesn’t open until 10 o’clock and pool bar not until 12 o’clock which is strange. There also I think needs to be a toilet by the pool rather than having to keep going into the hotel. All in all a lovely hotel, staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will return soon.

We stayed in a villa as two families with kids between 1-6 years old and the resort met all of our needs. Kid friendly , spacious villa with outside space , air con, kitchen , BBQ , kids pool, friendly staff, small playground and space to run around, enclosed with security, walking distance to beach and village had nice restaurants kid friendly , fresh seafood and supermarkets close by. The village was busy a nighttime with nice vibe and night market. There is a Kids club everyday and the kids enjoyed a couple of hours here and there which is nice to get some time to relax . 30 mins to Olbia airport . Taxis are expensive and not quickly available so would recommend hiring a car and this allows you to explore parts of the island . Babysitters can be arranged by hotel but are expensive also so we only used once . Overall would highly recommend for young family holiday

Big thank you to all the staff. Our daughter got ill with all that includes (hospital, rebooking etc etc). Thats when you need friendly and flexible staff which was exactly what we got. Plus some extra treatment when she finally recovered

Appreciated!

This complex was amazing and of high quality. All staff were excellent - friendly and very helpful. The pool and beachside location is a must for families. Rooms were very attractive and the island itself very interesting. It is definitely a place to re-visit.

Room Tip: Suites are a large size so can also be a family room.
