I have been there several times during my bussiness trips in Gorna Oryahovitsa. The location is very good, in the center and easy to be reached by car. The rooms are normal for the price but unfortunately quite noisy, because of the windows. The breakfast is quite poor. in the past may be it has been good property, but now if you have another apportunity to stay, go there.

Unless you like labyrinths and hundreds of stairs until you reach your room, which is not properly cleaned, has a cockroach or two and you love waiting an hour for your two-pieces-of-bread breakfast with your 2-years-old at smoker's bar, all of this at the price of 4-star hotel, feel free to book. Otherwise, go to Arbanasi or another place nearby. This might be the best hotel in Gorna Oryahovica but it is one of the worst ones I've been to.

This hotel is well over priced for what it is. Rooms are small and very badly maintained. Sewage in the bathrooms is awful. There is a really bad smell throughout. Expect to be charged extra for pretty much everything you might need i.e. hair dryer, towels for the pool etc.

I have never been in such a bad hotel. The rooms are small, dark, dirty and cold. There s always an awful musty smell in the bathroom, the only heating in the room is the air condition that is why it is impossible to dry your wet towel. There is no shower cabin in the bathroom so you have to spill the water onto the floor while having a shower. The water won't drain, because the pipe is on the other site of the bathroom. The batroom's door is rotten because of humidity. The bad clothes look unfresh, the cleaning staff don't exchange the towels even if they re clearly dirty. The staff is very unfriendly, they didn't turn the central heating, even though I asked about it. The breafkast is server in the bar where everybody smokes. There is no buffet in the"restaurant", you can only choose among three dishes which are repeated every day. The portions are extremely small, there is no blach tea and the only version of coffee is an espesso. You have to go out to go to this bar. IF YOU CANNEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL!

Hardly a city on the tourist trail, it was simply a convenient breaking point on a round-Bulgaria trip by train. Biggest plus was the very friendly English speaking receptionist on both in the evening and next morning. Despite pre-reserving and advised the hotel took card payments, I had to pay cash. No big deal. The walk from the reception was up one flight of stairs and a rather long weaving corridor.  Room was very spacious, sofas, arm chair and twin beds. Air conditioning worked well which was very much needed on warm evening. Biggest disappointment was the bathroom. Initially a bad odour was the most noticeable thing, that was soon got rid of by owning the window. Small hand basin, soap, shampoo and two very small towels only. Shower was a handheld attachment in the same cubical as the WC which was no screened off from the area with the wash basin. Oh and remember to flick the red switch on if you want hot water! Possibly owned by the same people, there is a pizza restaurant and bar located next to the hotel which was ideal for an evening meal. The surrounding area looked very residential and I had absolutely no idea where the town/city centre was to explore other options. With an early start the next morning, I was too early for breakfast but they packed me a small takeout bag. Again the helpful receptionist organised me a taxi to take me back to the train station.
