We arrives on a Saturday
Restaurant was closed at lunch, fully booked at night and closed on Sunday.
The Mgr said « sorry if we need to rest ... «  Really ??? If you don’t want to have hospitality schedule, work somewhere else!!!
No staff at spa on Sundays ...
Very disappointed. Website pics are very well done... brace for a shock getting there.
Silver lining: hotel is close to Grenoble so you can find a place more hospitable :-)

My husband and I and our two small children (3&1) stayed one night here on our way to the French Riviera. It's a charming, well kept, quiet and relaxing hotel. The room was spacious, clean and well kept. The pool is on the smaller side but adequate for our needs. We had dinner in the restaurant along with our two children. The food was superb! We ordered ravioli and steak for the children. The kids steak was cooked to perfection and the ravioli was delicious. My husband had the ceviche as a starter and continued to rave about it the rest of our trip! We shared a delicious bottle of red wine.
In the morning, the staff directed me towards the walking/hiking trails in the woods less than 1 mile from the hotel.
Overall, it was an easy, non-complicated stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful in all our needs. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay if we are ever in Eybens again!

Lovely place, with a nice staff, in the outskirts of Grenoble. Perfect if you, like us, have a car. We got a really nice and big room, and outside in the garden there's a quite pool area. Very relaxing place. But beware! We stayed there from Sunday to Monday, and the it felt like Grenoble was totally closed on Sundays. No restaurants or nothing nearby was open.

Impressive entrance. Impressive location. But .....

Spacious car park that is secured behind gates at night. Nice gardens and pool area. All well maintained. Reception was welcoming. But ...

I asked if we could eat in the restaurant at 1930, but was told the restaurant was fully booked. This was a Monday, so all of the good local restaurants were closed. We were directed to a local pizza bar, about 15 minute's walk away (thunder showers in vicinity). This was very disappointing.

As we walked to our room, we could see people gathering for a special occasion in the restaurant. Indeed, the eating area had been extended with a gazebo to cope with a big party.

The room was fine, but lacked expected amenities. Nothing important - no pen or paper, no gown or slippers, no toiletries - even though our booking showed such things. The bathroom had soap and a shower gel dispenser on the wall, just like the most basic of budget hotels. Not good. But - wifi was good.

Armed now with our booking confirmation, I returned to reception to show staff that I had booked for dinner. This led to puzzled looks, as my booking for dinner had been made six months earlier. Six months. An awkward silence followed. It seems that when we made our booking, it was over the 2016 Christmas period, and the dinner reservation was overlooked. We all make mistakes, of course, but we were hungry after a long drive.

Eventually the hotel offered to squeeze us into the party for our dinner. That was kind, as they were clearly making an effort. I was grateful, but I was not willing to sit in the corner during somebody else's (birthday?) party. That would have been awkward and uncomfortable - intruding into a private function. We declined.

Kindly, staff offered us a drink to recover the situation. A (small) gin & tonic and a coup of champagne. There followed a walk, dodging showers, to the pizza establishment. I'd better not comment on that!

A good night's sleep in a comfortable bed ensued. Breakfast was excellent. A wide choice of upmarket products. A help-yourself orange juicer was popular. Very nice surroundings. Apart from Chateau Belmont Hotel in Tours, this was our best breakfast in France!

We parted the hotel on good terms with the hotel, but I could not conceal my disappointment.

I'm sure you will be luckier than us. Terry.

We stayed with friends for one night on the way to Provence. The location is good with easy access and the buildings are impressive, as are the surroundings. There is plenty of on-site parking. Our room was cool and comfortable, a bonus as it was very hot when we arrived. Our shower was especially good. The pool was temporarily out of action but was being refilled whist we were there.
What we really liked were the friendly staff and the good value, excellent meal taken on the terrace. We would definitely stay again.
