found this place by accident and booked a room whilst travelling around the new forest , it is in great location . the staff are very friendly yes the rooms were maybe a little tired but they were very clean, biggest plus for us was that there was no problems with taking the dog inside with us which was helpful. the best of all was the food it was amazing and we were all very impressed , thank you chef.

Enjoyed a good meal with the family. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Certainly one to put on the list of places worth a visit if your in the area. The parking isn't really big enough but it's worth the effort to find a place for the car. Looking forward to going there again myself.

Having stayed at the Woodfalls inn a few years ago, we decided to have a few days away in the New Forest and stay at the Woodfalls inn again.
Sadly the Woodfalls inn has gone downhill with the brakes off.
Our room had a filthy carpet, bloodstained curtains, stained bed cover and a layer of dust over the furniture.
Cobwebs in the corners of the room and a shower head that refused to stay at the top of the pole, forcing you to have a shower doubled over like Quasimodo.
The bed!!, I have slept in some very obscure places, in the back of Cars and Vans, on sofa's and even the floor, but by far the worst was the bed in room 7 of the Woodfalls inn.
The base was for a King size bed, but the mattress was for a small double.
Consequently there was a 6 inch "shelf" around the mattress.
In addition to this the mattress was absolutely worn out, every time either of us moved a chorus of "doing! doing!" greeted us as the springs screamed in torment.
By 3am my Wife had had enough and spent the rest of the night sitting up in a chair.
We had originally booked in for 3 nights, but checked out after the first night.
Enough is enough, do yourself a favour and don't go near this place, it's awful.

Room Tip: Don't stay here.

Popped in by chance so glad we did. The roast was to die for I had the slow cooked beef & my wife the lamb shank. Both were cooked brilliant the Yorkshire pudding & roast potatoes were to die for. Even the kids had both cleared there plates even though one is a fussy eater!! Keep up the good work!

We are were returning home after a visit to Lymington, we got held up for ages at Lyndhurst travelling north in the New Forest. We were getting hungry at 1.45pm on the Bank Holiday Sunday and saw the Woodfall Inn open for Sunday lunch. It's on the right travelling up the B3080 on the South east side of Salisbury.
We were quickly seated, menu in hand and both chose the slow roast lamb shank
served with yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, boiled new potatoes, carrots, peas, broccoli and gravy. The meat just fell off the bone, the meal was very tasty and considering it's large size was excellent value at £10.99. You could upgrade to a larger portion for an extra £3. There was also beef, pork and chicken to choose from besides the specials board.
Sorry can't comment on the puddings although what other people were having looked delicious! We would definately eat here again should we be in the area, we 'd like to go back to see the ponies grazing beside the road very nearby
