Had a wonderful meal, outstanding, in fact. Our second visit a year apart and both have been wonderful. Fantastic views from the dining room and excellent, high end food. Service good but not intrusive. No snobbery here just first class cooking in a beautiful village looking over mountains.

Thank Pam K

Stopped here for lunch with my son's family. This is a very small hillside village, not on a main road. How could one expect to have the best meal they have ever had in France in a place like this. I wish the reader has the ability to visit and enjoy the food at this amazing restaurant.

Called in on the off chance as the Zubi Ondoa was closed (always is Wednesday!). Had not eaten here since Alain Ducasse days and heard of trials and tribulations since then. Well we had a superp meal, the coup de coeur being a lot and pork dish, an unusual combination but very good. Desserts, well we ordered 5 different desserts and passed them round, like the port, until all the plates were spotless. Brilliant puds. What with the fantastic views and drinks on the terrace beforehand it's an ace place to eat out.

The food was very tasty, specially the Salmis de Palombe but service was definitively to slow that day and we have to skip dessert and café.
It was a pity because we knew it was good restaurant but cannot afford to wait near one hour to have the first dish served!
But we will try to come back because of the very nice location.

A group of us ate at Iparla tonight and had a very good experience. Granted, there are only three restaurant choices in Bidarray, but it was good. Since it was a large group, we were given 3 starter choices and 3 entree choices (fish, lamb or pork). All were good. Portions are large. Service was efficient. While we enjoyed it, we were the only people in the restaurant. It was a Tuesday night in early September, so we were told it was just after the main tourist season, but it seemed very unusual. It is worth a try.
