Such a beautiful setting. Beautiful views across the water from the Fale's. Loved waking up looking out across the water and also sunset drinks out the front. No wifi and no tv initially were a shock but would be now why I'd go back there. Enforced relaxation and device detox! No sneaky checking of emails.
Day trip to Bat Island was great- our own mini survivor experience! Loved the Day trip around the island with Tony as well.
The staff are all wonderful and really made the trip special for my father in laws 70th with the local party dancing! So friendly and laid back. Good at the restaurant is of great quality as well.
We really enjoyed the Fia Fia night and enjoyed seeing some of the staff up there showing of their cultural dancing. Fishing trip was also great and catching a blue trevally and having it cooked for dinner by the restaurant was a highlight.
Loved this place and will definately come back one day.
My only negative is the advertising of stand up paddle boards (plural) when there is just one blow up board. I am an avid paddle boarder and own my own board so was disappointed. Not the end of the world but such a perfect place to do it! Even if you charged for hiring them I'd have paid.
But minor in the scheme of things and I walk we had a very special memorable holiday with out twin girls and husbands parents for a 70th bday trip we will all never forget.
Samoa, so unspoilt and uncommercialised. I hope it doesn't lose that. And beautiful warm friendly people. ❤️❤️

We stayed one night as we couldn't get on the ferry and had a two room bungalow. The room was nice with comfortable beds and a deck overlooking the lagoon. The shower went hot then cold. We went kayaking which was average as the water is quite murky being near to the port and it was hard getting the kayaks back in through the sludge with no ropes on the front of them to pull them with. My husband wanted to take the hobie-cat out but was told it would cost $100 tala ($60 NZD) for two hours which was a lot considering the price we paid for the bungalow. The pool was nice but the deck had nails sticking out which was dangerous for our kids feet and the surrounding concrete had seen better days. The restaurant made delicious food which was also quite pricey and took a while.

Thank you for your review. Being fully booked luckily the last and best villa happened to be available in between bookings for the night. Le Vasa is pleased to hear the villa was comfortable with great views over the lagoon.
Le Vasa is a sustainable resort and it is important to protect the reef as a result a sign is posted above the kayak station advising not to use kayaks during low tide. The sail boat is $100 wst for 3 hours.
All other non motorized vehicles, library, media room, recreational games are complementary to our guests.
The resort conducts a monthly maintenance on and around pool and annually paint the cement.
Sometimes the staff maintenance do miss some things and great if guests notify us right away so we can address them immediately. It's Fantastic to hear you thought our food delicious! Remember most food is IMPORTED to the islands. We use FRESH ingredients and most meals are made from scratch so they take a bit longer to make so they taste yummy and all costs are a bit more.
All the best and look forward to your return to Le Vasa.

This place is in a great location if you need easy access to the Wharf or Airport.
The bed rooms were large and spacious and our room on the water had a great view of the ocean and horizon BUT you cannot swim in the water due to the very clay-y sea bed. We didn't realise this before booking. Of course you can use the pool.
Bathroom was a bit small and the place did smell a bit musty.
The new manager Diane was really helpful and kind.
Food are good sized portions with the breakfast a stand out with different samoan porridge served every day.
Very nice to sit on the waters edge and watch the sunset.
We had a car so drove to the nearby Clam Conservatory which was an easy trip and a fun thing to do.

Thank you for saying we gave a great location, views, large and comfortable rooms, helpful staff, that it was nice to sit on the waters edge to see the sunset and good size food portions. You can swim out behind the monument. Thank you for staying with us.

The resort is a good looking one and there are activities like kayaking, biking, basketball, games room, ping pong, darts, pool etc. The rooms are also fine but I think AC needs an upgrade. We liked our bungalow over the water where we fed the fish. This is a nice place with a nice pool and I think the wait staff are friendly but need some more training. Friendly and nice Filipino assistant manager and Samoan housekeeping staff. At Breakfast, the Indian chef (or sous chef) called out to the woman dishing food onto (our) plates that she needed to wear gloves of which she ignored. Hygiene please is crucial. At dinner, we had to continuously ask for service for drinks and food and then waited a good while for my sons dinner to arrive only to be told that they had run out of pasta and the girl who ordered it didn't place it in order. It's a beautiful place but maybe they were tired when we were there.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Le Vasa appreciates your recommendation on the activities that we provide at the resort and stating that our resort is a good looking one, nice pool. It's great that you were able to experience feeding the fish off your waterfront bungalow and the resort staff were friendly. What a wonderful stay we had a Le Vasa. Our plane arrived 6 hours late and still someone was there at the airport to pick us up at 4am! Thank you Daiz.

Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful water view. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah looking out at the water, feeling the stress of city life slowly seep away.

The food was excellent and I particularly loved the tropical breakfasts and the seared tuna with sesame seeds.

Tony is an excellent manager and he ensures visitors are very well taken care of. The other staff are very helpful and friendly and made us feel very much at home.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday and we look forward to seeing you next time.
