What a good experience. The town is one of the most beautiful around. Nice shops, ancient building and in the center of the square a huge old building where the restaurant is. Staff is so professional. We were escorted to our table in the same minute we entered. Table lovely. The menu was given to us and the dishes of the day presented. The Head chef came to collect our order. AMAZING ! We were offered 2 incredible amuse bouches and the our ordes exactly as we requested. Bread was amazing good. Staff so nice. At the end they came with a trolley with some treats for kids (small macarrons, goodies). So kind. We loved the time we spent there and i would love to come back as i felt so well taken care and of course we have enjoyed our meal. Specially the Grand Marnier Souffle, incredible, We loed everything.,

The Restaurant is located in beautiful surroundings, the quality of the local products are prepared with great care, the execution is excellent. The wine list is very fairly priced with beautiful Alsace and Burgundy selection. The service was impeccable. The decor might be a bit 1990's stuck but does it really matter, at some point even that will become cool again!

The “amuse bouche” along with the house cocktail were delicious. The entree of warm Oysters and Sliced beef with a side of Fresh Oyster on a bit of Steak Tartare less so (the two came across as a gimmicky marriage made in Las Vegas). After that I had the Ris de Veau which was very good (perhaps a tad too salty, but the veggies were quite good. The dessert was excellent.

All in all not worth the 5 stars I would like to give it (fo ambiance and service it was there) but perhaps I fell victim to just a bit too much creativity and/or innovation in the kitchen.

This restaurant ranks as one of the best I have ever visited. From the beautiful interior and design elements to the amazing service and cuisine, this is one of the highlights of our time in France. The dishes were inventive and beautifully presented. The ingredients were uniformly superb and the flavor combinations were striking. There were also special dishes from the chef in between each course that made the time seem to fly by. On top of the wonderful food, the waiters coordinated their service which seemed effortless and was unobtrusive. Our favorites from this meal were the oysters and beef two ways entree and the iberico pork main course. Truly special place and a great value. An equivalent meal would cost two or three times as much in Paris or New York.

Lovely traditional ambiance, very attentive staff, and service was efficient but not rushed. The food was excellent. When I thought I couldn’t eat another bite after the delicious tarte au chocolat, I still managed to eat all of the little mini-bites served with coffee. Go hungry, you will not be disappointed.
