You can really taste that this is a family that takes much joy in sharing recipes handed down from generation to generation.
Four of us shared twp mixed platters and found the quality to ve very good, the portions to be appropriate and the welcome very warm. It was a pleasure to chat with both Mom & daughter at the front-of-house but PaPa was too busy in the kitchen

Found this restaurant by chance. Very impressed and just what we needed. Wonderful service and good healthy food with Lebanese Mediterranean twist.

Worst experience of my weekend in Villa de Leyva. We ordered the Vegetarian Plate, priced at $32,000. Plain white rice, lettuce/cucumber/sprouts, jarred mushrooms, and two flavorless and burned falafels, a tiny eggroll (how does that fit with Mediterranean), and a sour spinach empanada. No tabulleh, no hummus--why is the vegetarian plate not a veggie version of the Plato Mixto Arabe? I let them know that I was unhappy with the experience, that the flavor was not good, and that it was overpriced. I got shouted at by the cook.

If you've ever been to a real Mediterranean restaurant before, you'll know that this is nowhere close. If you've ever been to any good restaurant before, you'll know that this isn't one. Unfortunately, this is the new problem with Villa de Leyva--restaurants rip off the tourists knowing they won't be back anyway. I guess, vegetarians get ripped off even more since we have fewer options.

This restaurant is very little but with an awesome food quality and service. The food is very tasty, nice and personalized service. Recommended for lunch and even to share a good bottle of wine. It is located near of the main center of the city.

The food is really good, freshly prepared at order and very tasty. The owners are really nice too and the place is cosy. A little bit pricey for Villa de Leyva standard, but completely worth it.
