Finally we went for dinner and were the only ones eating there...what a shame! We started with the empanadas chilenas and they were "deliciosas". Cooked in the clay oven giving them a very unique flavour. The sauce on the side was also very good. Then we had the avocado, corn and tomato apetizer and was also delicious. Everthing washed down with red 'vino de la casa" . I had the Trout and was cooked to perfection. Juicy, not overcooked and with two differewnt side dishes. My husband had the lamb and he loved it. Also with two dfferent side dishes that were very tasty: caramelized carrots and papitas criollas! We couldnt try dessert becasue were full but very happy with our dinner. The owner is fom Chile and came twice to our table to ask about our food. The waitress also was very nice and with a nice smile. Definitivley was one of the best dinners that we had in Villa de Leyva and are looking forward to go back again. One of the best Restaurants in Leyva.
The restauant have an outdoor area also very nice. Jus take a jacket or a scarf because it could be a but chilly.
