The food this year from the A La Carte menu appears to have gone up another notch. The choice and variety from anti pasta to dessert, including vegetarian options along with tasting menus, 4 or 6 courses with or without tasting wines means it is so easy to find something you desire and I found the whole menu was fantastic. Obviously this is not a local Trattoria so you have to expect to pay appropriately for fine dining. The pasta was cooked to perfection and some of the main courses, including the Rack of Lamb and Florentine Steak just melted in your mouth and we were also fortunate enough to sample some great black truffle dishes. There are wines for every budget and the local Tuscan reds are well worth sampling and they will not break the bank. If your in the locality or staying at Villa La Massa you must dine here and enjoy the experience as you sit on the terrace next to the banks of the River Arno.
