This is a red Ibis hotel, and doesn't differ much from the many Ibis hotels I've stayed in. The location is the main advantage. It's close to the highway from where you can easily reach many locations in Tuscany by car. It also has a massive shopping mall right next to it with lots of places to eat at, shopping and also some events.
The room was okay. Typical Ibis, clean, comfortable, small TV. If you need to see it, check out my video on it.
Breakfast had a good spread. It had a station with gluten-free products, also rice and soy milk. I had a few problems with it. The bread and the meats were going fast, and often if you popped down in the 3rd hour of breakfast, there wasn't much left. The coffee was bad. Drinkable, but not something I would have had by choice. It's kind of sad to have bad coffee in Italy. Also, it was incredibly noisy most of the time. The hotel seems to have a lot of groups, or I'm not exactly sure, but if you listen to my video you can barely hear me speak. I often had breakfast outside, while trying to stay away from the smokers.
The staff was very friendly and spoke many languages. I really liked the receptionists as people.
Overall, it's an okay hotel. If you're picky about coffee, try resorting to tea. Or I recommend that the hotel change the beans. I know this is a budget hotel, but we're in Italy, and in none of the other Ibises was it this bad. Also, fill up those breakfast items faster. Do check out for the visuals my video of the hotel on my YouTube channel, Izzy's Travel Diaries.
