We had a 4 day Christmas/Santa break. The hotel was very good although the food did not seem geared for kids who maybe won't eat any local food. There was some selection but it could have been a bit more of a selection. That said you are in Finland. Hotel is nicely situated and a short Gondola ride down to Levi, passes included so no extra cost. Rooms were a good size and the bathroom was a good size. Room was provided with a drying cabinet which was very handy.

Hotel Levi Panorama is in the perfect location in Levi. You get a free Levi Express day pass. You get one for each day you stay IE 2 nights, give you a 2 day pass. Which get you from the bottom of Levi to the hotel.
The view from the hotel is amazing. Whilst this time I did not see the Northern lights it's a good area to spot them.
The accommodation was great, the space in the room was fantastic, had a drying facility within the room, had a fridge also. The views from the room were great. Breakfast was included and was good for the money.
Only thing I would recommend is having a bigger A La Carte menu to accommodate more variety. All in all, I would 100% stay again.

Very nice hotel with beautiful design, very large room with balcony and fantastic view over the surrounding landscape. Large bathroom. Helpful staff, and a fabulous breakfast buffet. Only thing they could have done better was enforce wearing of masks. But otherwise really great hotel.

This excellent hotel is located right next to the downhill ski slopes and has A excellent restaurant. There is also A cinema. Gym room is little one but ok to boost your muscles after skiing. Nice view from the sauna. You can wall down the hill to the Levi village using >500 stairs.

Hotel is next to the slopes so it’s really easy to go snowboarding or down hill skiing. The location of the hotel is good. The view from the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast (vegan option) was good even though it was a take away. The room was a bit untidy when we got there. We had some troubles with chrome cast and it didn’t work.

I visited hotel during January and there where not much activities open. Bar was closed and most of the restaurant was also closed. It is of course understandable, because there where so few quest. One minus has to be the access during evenings. Most of my visit the gondola was closed so only way to come or go was to use taxi. If you do not mind this it is a good hotel.

I totally understand your point of view about closed activities. Due to the the Covid-19 the opening hours were minimized, but hopefully we will be able to extend those as soon as possible.
The Express Cabin Lift is operated by an external service provider Oy Levi Ski Resort Ltd, and the lift normally runs daily between 9.30 am - 9 pm in the winter season, beginning November, until the end of April. For safety reasons the Gondola Express lift does not run in very cold weather, and then the only way is to take taxi or walk stairs down to the village center. I assume that in January during your stay the cold weather was the reason, but luckily these very cold days are very seldom actually.
