Steve and Miranda run a very good DIVING resort. The resort is primarily set up for diving and divers.
Accommodation and food are excellent, with vegetarians being well catered for.
The dive operation is first class, good dive boats, guides and crew. Divesites are close by, mostly muck diving but with some spectacular coral walls and reefs. The range of marine life seen was amazing, hairy frogfish, blue ringed octopus, wonderpus and to top it all the Lembeh Sea Dragon.
Back for a week and we have booked for next year already !

Room Tip: All bungalows are excellent, some are directly overlooking the straits, but all have sea views. Reso...

We spent 8 nights and 9 days at Hairball resort (Dive Into Lembeh), and we can highly recommend the resort to everyone who's into diving.

The resort is very cozy as it has only nine bungalows, all of them with a spectacular view to the Lembeh Strait. Bungalows are well equipted with both ac and fan, minibar, kingsize bed and spacious bathroom with rainshower. Every bungalow has it's own Japanese onsen on the veranda, which is great to get to you warm again after the day of diving if the water gets a bit chilly. Bungalows are cleaned and towels are changed daily.

Lunch/dinner is served buffet style, always offering a vegetarian option as well. Special kudos to the freshly baked bread which they serve every day. Resort owners Steve and Miranda really take pride for the food they serve, so the food is truly amazing. Restaurant staff is friendly and polite.

Diving operations are very well managed. They run a schedule with 3 boat dives per day, 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. There's also an option for a night dive, and the housereef is open every day until 18:00. All boats are new, spacious and fast, so it doesn't take long to get to dive sites, even the furthest ones. Boat crew prepares your gear for every dive, so the only thing you have to do is to show up before the boats are leaving. Dive guides are friendly and experienced, and if you tell them what you want to see, they can usually find it. Dive groups are small (usually just 2 guests per guide) to ensure that the guides have more time to consentrate just on you. They also know how to deal with photographers, always helping you out with your rig and pointing out the most interesting critters. All this is done on natures terms, respecting the divers as well as the critters.

Photographers are also treated with two separated rince tanks, as well as a huge airconditioned camera room with plenty of room to maintain and store your rig, charge batteries etc.

All in all this resort is 10/10, with it's laidback homelike atmosphere, friendly staff and experienced management team. Highly recommended!

Lovely resort with great hospitality. This is a resort meant for diver photographers! from the layout of the rooms to the pool to the dive setup to the camera room. Crew is well trained and attentive, remembering your gear setup and camera setups after a dive or two. The individual outdoor hot bath and cable tv are great bonuses, but not essential. Great food, great dives, and nice bar helmed most times by Steve, the main man, makes a great diving holiday! Can't say enough other than we are planning our next trip there again!

Room Tip: If you are lazy like me, ask for a villa directly facing the pool. within 10-20 steps of everything!

We went by accident as we should have been in Bali, how lucky can we get !
A lovely chalet number9 with its own outlook of the lembeh straight and a hot tub on the verandah which I was in every night we were there. The owners Steve and Miranda were perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble! The food very good and the staff always smiling and efficient. The dive centre staff were very aware of all the wonders that live beneath, although only my husband dives I was always welcome to join any trips I wanted too. What we both enjoyed was after every dive the boat returned to the resort so we could spend a lot of our holiday together. If we return to Lambeh we wouldn't consider anywhere else to stay we had a wonderful time thank you all so much. We stayed for 5 nights in the Dive into Lembeh Resort in September. We were picked up at Manado by the hotel and given a very nice warm reception by Steve when we arrived.

We were delighted with the resort! It is a small (9 rooms) resort, which is very well managed. The diving, staff, rooms and food were all excellent.

The rooms are a traditional style, with a large balcony and Japanese hot tub. Perfect after diving! The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms very clean, lots of storage and a very efficient A.C. We particularly liked having a water dispenser in the room.

The food was fantastic! Breakfast included eggs cooked to your liking. Lunch and dinner was 3 courses. Great sociable bar to catch up in after diving or dinner.

I am a non-diver but my husband really enjoyed the muck diving in Lembeh. It worked well for us as he came back to resort after each dive. Especially nice in the morning as he did an early dive and then came back for breakfast. The dive guides were very professional and great at spotting critters! My husband really liked the camera room, especially as it was close to the bar!

The swimming pool and sun lounges were perfect for me as a non-diver.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Dive into Lembeh, Steve and his team made us feel part of their family whilst we were there. We will be back!
