We have spent 3 nights at Charming Holiday lodge and wish we could stay longer. Rooms are big and clean and a café attached is still open to have a drink or eat a snack. Ahmed, the host, is one of my favorite encounters. He was very nice and took care of us like we were family.
He organised a private boat for us to go snorkeling.
By staying at charming holiday lodge we could acces to the resort during the day. For free when we booked a diving or for usd 20. Staying at charming make us discover real people and enjoy facilities of a resort for an affordable price. The best way to discover maldives!

Had a great time staying nice little hotel.

We stayed at the Deluxe Suite. The rooms where really clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was Roti and Tuna fish, which was real good.
Hameed, the owner, was really accommodating and made arrangements for whatever requests we made.

We had a snorkeling trip to a remote island, a romantic beach side dinner, a trip to the nearby Canareef Resort, and a taxi tour of the Addu Atoll over the course of 3 days. Hameed was very helpful; he arranged speedboat tickets whenever necessary, enquired people to arrange for someone to show us around Addu, accompanied us to whatever places we visited, and best of all lent us his motorbike for our use.. We had fun roaming the island in the bike. Arrangements for the moon light dinner were really superb, but it was a bit scary since there were absolutely no one else in the beach other than me and my wife. Didn't matter though.. We enjoyed the dinner and had fun.

If we visit Maldives again, we know where to stay now :)

Awesome guesthouse. Clean rooms, beautiful furniture, cozy rooms. It's a great place specially if you are looking for a place to stop over. Plus they give you great deals in water sports from canareef resort just nearby.
