A short note to thank you for the friendly environment you have created at the Retreat. Emma and I enjoyed the time we spent with you. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The hotel location is great with easy walking access to Clarens centre as well as the walking trails around Clarens. The place way clean and the people of the small town were friendly, everything was within walking distance to enjoy what the town offers. There are little gift shops and antique stores if you fancy getting yourself or someone something. The town is surrounded by beautiful mountains which are breathtaking and not to far from golden gate if you want to take a hike. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!
My wife and I stayed in a self-catering unit for four nights and had a wonderful time. The unit was well-priced, located right in Clarens near the best restaurants and shops, and had a beautiful view. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We will certainly stay at Clarens Retreat again when we next visit Clarens.
We had a lovely stay at Clarens Retreat and will definitely be going back there again. The rooms are very well equipped and we could see that a lot of thinking went into the design and setup of the rooms.
great location, love Room 6 , studio like set up, and Chef Francois can definitely cook ! Located in the heart of Clarens, the CR offers amongst others, 2 nice studios, with "en suite braii" by the terrace. Food experience designed by Chef Francois and his team is amazing, breakfast is terrific, Croissant is a must try !
What an amazing place from cleanliness to comfort and most of all finishing off our day with an amazing meal cooked by Francoise.
