If you go to Monte San Savino, you must make a reservation (way in advance) for Le Bindi. The menu is set, each day and (about) 10 courses are served, family style, at a table that seats 20.
My friend and I had a wonderful time. The service is beyond excellent. The wine list is ample. The food is exquisite and is made fresh every day for 1 seating at lunch and 1 at dinner. Each dish was a work of art. The only bad thing I have to say is that there was too much food. I say this only because I had to sample everything and was more than full by the time dessert was served.
You will need to book way in advance, however. So if you know that you will be in Monte San Savino, book asap. Many, many locals go there and seating is limited. My friend and I changed our travel dates so that we could get a reservation at Le Bindi.
The fixe prix menu is worth it (25 euros, not including wine). This is a destination and a grand experience. i'd change my plans again to eat at Le Bindi.
