I would never recommend this b&b to anyone because i had booked a double room for myself and me 3 year all son and never got to stay because when i arrived there was no one there and when i rang to see what the story was they said they would be back shortly if i wanted to leave my bags in the porch and go off they would take them in for me, 20minutes later i get a phone call of them and they said that they don't know what time they would be back and i should find somewhere else to stay. So i would never recommend this b&b they are a disgrace and shouldn't be allowed run a b&b

Lovely large room.We stayed for 1 night,a family of 2 adults and 3 children. An extra mattress was laid on,with no fuss or noise.Crisp and really fresh linen. The breakfast was really hearty, and the kids were looked after brilliantly.Would really recommend this lovely B@B.

We stayed here for 2 nights (in room 1) in early July as we were visiting relatives in nearby village for a birthday celebration. Initially when we arrived the owner wasn't there however they arrived just as we were leaving and we were quickly sorted out. As with much of the culture, one learns to take things in very relaxed pace and this wasn't an issue for us. Our room was spacious and the bed was lovely and cosy. Couple of very minor but important things to note: there was no water or glasses in the room which was a problem, also the TV was difficult to operate until we worked out it was partly via remote and partly by pressing buttons on the set! Breakfast was delicious and Anne was extremely friendly and welcoming. The weather during our stay was exceptionally hot and I was not feeling great the next morning (our last day) so I was offered tea and toast in the room instead, which was much appreciated. Anne also told us that we were welcome to use the lounge and kitchen facilities at any time during our stay. The bathroom was clean, the show appeared to have a jacuzzi element to it however we couldn't get this working throughout our stay! We would definitely stay here again, but will bring water next time, just in case!

Despite reservations having been made many months ago we were treated very poorly at the Beach Lodge. The owner was never seen. My sister and her husband had just settled into their room when they were told that this room had been promised to someone else and they were forced to move to a room another floor up which was not quite finished. We had booked 2 singles and a double en-suite and only the double and one of the singles were en-suite. The place seemed to be run by a rather unfriendly German who took our justified complaints as personal insults. Never again!!!

We wanted a B&B near the airport and close the beach. Beach Lodge was the perfect choice. The rooms were clean and cozy, the beds comfortable and the linen crisp and fresh. There were five in our party (two rooms) and everyone thought the hostess delivered the finest full Irish breakfast we had in all of Ireland. It is also a short walk to the beach and to a delightful old ruined keep. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast and will certainly return upon our next visit to Ireland.
