Staff is very welcoming. We slept in a double dome tent, very comfortable and clean. Monkeys are also very nice. Washrooms are clean and spacious and meals are good. The beach is at walking distance, beautiful, and the swimming pool is so nice. I highly recommend this place. Very good free wi-fi.

Room Tip: Tent B is very nice and cosy.

Best rates, helpful and great staff and best of all when you need it you got it (owner) most resourceful. Would reccomend you book them and experience it on your own, no fails and expectations are me. Best part you can enjoy a mini vacation on low budget

Staying in stilts for six nights in July as part of our travels around Africa.

Staff are amazing, especially Isaac the barman and Wayne the owner! All of the staff are really welcoming and friendly!

Stilts is perfect for anyone on a budget with services of a luxury site. There is daily bushbaby feeding and a sister hotel across the road, Flamboyant where Wayne lets you use the services and pool etc, which is virtually on the beach where there are lively bars and amazing views! It is the perfect location.

We stayed in the cheaper tree houses which are so close to nature, there is no electricity but wifi and charging ports are provided in the bar and safety deposit boxes for your belongings too. Also in the tree houses there are shared toilets and bathrooms but they are vey private and adequate for the price you pay.

Food is amazing with healthy portions at a good price too, if you want something more luxurious then bars and hotel can also provide this.

Will always recommend this place 100% for a friendly chilled stay for backpackers and holiday makers, Will definitely be returning!

We originally came to Stilts from another hostel just to see the Bushbabys they feed every evening but ended up moving our stuff over swiftly!
We met Wayne (the owner) on our first night, he was extremely friendly and welcoming. He gave us all the info we needed about the area and some pool playing tips later at Forty Thieves bar!
We stayed in a treehouse and it felt like you were sleeping alongside the wildlife. When I came back to the room once there was a Colobus Monkey just chilling above the door.
Wayne also recently took over the Flamboyant Hotel opposite and allowed his guests to use the pool facility there.

Room Tip: Treehouses have a shared bathroom

We first stayed in stilts for 2 nights. The first night was a little bit hot, the second night was better with all the curtains open and a little bit of wind. After these 2 nights, we went to a cottage (because we ordered so). This was more luxurious, but also more moist and more insects because of it being close to the ground and having a shower included. But yeah, you are among wildlife so you have to agree upon this. It has its own charmes.

All the showers were nice and clean, washes can be done for a little money and you can eat some nice meals at the bar. I really liked the stay, the vibe and feeding the Bushbaby's. All staff was always in for a little talk and always looked happy. And besides that, I want to give a special shout out to Emmanuelle. It's a great person and he is always happy and positive. He is inspiring and a hard worker which any boss would like to have among its staff I think. Emmanuelle you made our stay even better!

Room Tip: Put your mosquito net under your mattress so nothing can come in.
