If the locals fill the place then it must be good and this place is no exception. The food is good wholesome food and the service was good even to an ignorant Englishman with next to no Spanish language skills.
I loved this place because it's a local, I went back several times to enjoy the atmosphere and people watch. The food was enjoyable but the menu listed lots of seasonal meals that were not available and this is probably where I suffered because of my ignorance and lack of Spanish so I couldn't discuss the various options. Despite this the waitress was attentive and helped as best she could.
As one of the previous posters said I think the place does need at least another waitress/waiter because the staff were too busy and it was hard to get refills when my glass ran dry. But this family run business knows it's costings better than I.
I've had better food and eaten at silver service restraunts but most of them I wouldn't go back to but this one is already on my list to revisit.
