In the last three months we have actually spend 30 nights at the three Leela properties of Goa, Udaipur and Kerala. We love the Leela Goa for 4 reasons. It offers the largest room size for the money you pay. The size of the rooms and suites are very large. It honors GHA and iPrefer memberships for an upgrade. This is not something you can say about lots of hotel chains who mysteriously have full occupancy even during an off season stay. The hotel staff not only remember you by name but also remember what your likes are at food. I always get a plate of mango served to me after breakfast automatically till my wife put a stop to it. We stay in the exclusive club area which is an hotel within an hotel. This offers us lots of peace and quiet even though the hotel outside is full. The beach outside the Leela is also very clean and we enjoy taking long walks. As the Leela is situated towards the end of the beach, it offers you more walking and you bump into fewer people. At the end of the day we keep going back because the Leela treat us not well but as royalty. Disclaimer: There is not a single five star hotel in Goa that I have not stayed at.

Room Tip: We always carry mosquito repellant when we are in Goa. Goa is full 12 months of the year.

we were aware of fact that a big renovation was undegone but based on the previous review we decided finally to stay there for 2 nights. The 1st rooms provided to us has a direct view to lmost demolished rooms under renovation which is rather depressing if you are on holidays. We have asked the reception to give us an other rooms which they did.

The new room was one of the renovated rooms and was great and the bigget room we have stayed including a living room with separate plasma TV and a very comfortable sofa. The bedroom was huge with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was simpy amazing and also huge. The view of the rooms was far better that the 1st room overlooking the gardens.

Nice buffet meal / dinner and good breakfast. Also during meals they had a stand where the made fresly made food on the spot including Indian and Italila specialities.

Nice spa with free use of stean bath and Sauna. There is small casino where ypu can try your luck and spent some time there.

Liked the free use of bikes for 30 min which you can go around the hotel.

Nice beach but due to Monsson the sea was very rough.

Compare to other hotle the staff was not so friendly and not as good service as received
from the other hotles we have stayed. The only negative point was that during one night by mistake house keepomg came to our room around miidnight!!! to collect some tray!!! eventhough we had never order food!. The duty manager was very kind and apologize for the incovenience.

we do recomend the hotel but it will be prefered to stay there once renovation work has been finshed.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July, and came away wishing we could stay longer!

The hotel / resort is fantastic - really up there with the top boutique hotels. Exquisite rooms and decor, fully equipped with enough in-room goodies for any eventuality! His and hers sinks, dozens of towels, huge room (with terrace!), enormous bed, two tv's, a chaise-lounge, the list goes on. It feels like a luxurious palace.

The hotel food is also excellent - an army of chefs whip up a fantastic selection of food each night, with chefs on hand to cook any dish you want, along with a vast selection of daily specials. Served in a huge dining area, with local musicians adding to the atmosphere.

The hotel has great service too - DVD library for lazy nights in, really well equipped business centre, gym, pools, golf, private beach, several bars, and a vast reception area with some amazing chairs and sofas to lounge on. The staff are wonderful too - always happy to try and exceed your expectations with any request.

We couldn't fault this place and would have liked to stay longer !

This was one of the best holidays I have had. We had gone to Goa for our anniversary and after looking at various hotels decided on Leela, and this was the best decision ever. The hotel made our experience truely memorable.

We stayed at the Club suite (with pool). The Club is like a mini exclusive resort within Leela. The room comes with a private butler who was extremely courteous and is always there to help you. Infact the entire staff is very courteous and make you feel special. The hotel had also organised cakes / flowers / wine / champagne on our anniversary day. The suite is fantastic and one of the better suites I have ever stayed in.

Room Tip: Club suites are an amazing experience. Totally worth the money.
