We visited this beach mid afternoon one weekday at the end of June, and found the beach busy and very few sunbeds available. However they are free if you buy drinks from the bars behind which suited us fine. The water was lovely and refreshing after our exploits during the day and it was nice to be served drinks at our beds. We did enquire at the kiosk on the beach about taking a taxi boat out to another beach which looked amazing from a viewpoint on our way down from the hills above, but given the time of day we decided we couldn't justify the cost as we wouldn't have had long, plus it was clouding over. However if there's a group of you it's probably worth hiring a motorboat for yourselves rather than taking the taxi boat - the cost is about the same and then you have more flexibility.
