Reviews for this Greek restaurant were mixed - especially about the "marmite" owner and host. We found him really great - friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent and the ambience very good. Definitely would go there again. The homemade puddings were excellent.

This was our second visit to this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Food was excellent. I'm not really much of a foodie but my starter of stuffed mushrooms was just divine! I didn't want it to end! Hubby had the Honeyed Prawns which were equally as delicious. We both then had a steak followed by a potion of the cheesecake, which we shared. Can't fault anything about this place. Service was great too. Very friendly staff. Well done!!!

After reading the reviews we were expecting a first class experience, alas it wasn’t to be. The service was ok but nothing special. The maitre’d is a bit of a marmite character...I wasn’t impressed. The menu is quite good however the mussel starters were quite chewy although the sauce was superb. Two of our mains had to be sent back as they were only warm. The actual food was good although not exceptional. The chips were fantastic though. No real apologies for the lukewarm meals so decided to leave without a dessert. We’ve had much better in this area so no plans to return.

We arrived late, but were made to feel welcome. The host is eccentric but in a good way. We loved him. We had three very different dishes. Each was very nice. Ordered a second bottle of wine because the ambience was so good. Ran out of time or we would have returned.

Thank Chris H
