Had a delicious dinner served by lovely people. Our faves were the lambi (conch) fricasee and the entrecote, with nice wine and cocktails. Very reasonable prices, too. We sat outside and watched the "downtown" Tartane scene, but there's also indeoor seating, including a lounge and bar. Would have returned for our "Adieu, Martinique" dinner but like many local restaurants, they're closed on Mondays. C'est dommage...

We were disappointed by our meal here, which was nothing special and quite high on the price. Choices on the (blackboard) menu were limited. Our first course (a salad) was very unimaginative, the main course was okay but nothing special, and our deserts were disappointing (the fruit salade consisted of just a few slices of pineapple and melon; and I had much nicer creme brulee's in most other places). Also, the music became quite loud as well (but by then we had ordered already). We were in Tartane for 5 nights and do recommend other ones for dinner (particularly Le Jardin opposite the petrol station at the village entry, and Many Nounou further up the road out of town).

We ate here on my first evening in Martinique. The food was very casual but a bit pricy for what you received. Good French wine.

We visited the island during the down season, this meant many places were not open. Dubuc Cafe had reduced hours but was open one of the evenings we walked down. We had read reviews online and in the lonely planet and had high expectations (especially having visited Le Table de Mamy Nounou the night before which was excellent).

The restaurant was a let down. The service was poor and food bad. From our seats we could see the chef using the microwave as her primary method of cooking- heating up pre made meals which lacked flavour. The vegetables and fruit were from a tin/frozen and it was very evident.

The service was ok but we were only informed immediately before ordering puddings that there was only one option. This was particularly disappointing since we had selected the menu du jour purely because of the deserts on offer.

Furthermore we were bitten extensively despite wearing anti mosquito spray- large amounts of vegetation in a space near the beach clearly attracted a lot of insects.

Finally, the menu was not cheap and in comparison to the previous evening it was very bad value for money.

I would not return or recommend it to anyone.

Was here in French West Indies. Came upon this place one evening. Opted for the menu due jour. Knew the starters would be fish and it was excellent. Wasn't sure of the main course but it was pork with rice. Very good but could have done with a little more sauce. The desert was sorbet with a hint of citron. Good selection of wines by the glass and the half bottle. Study your French and go here to appreciate the menu. For European residents you can use your euro
