This review may be outdated by the time you read this, as I was advised by the new purchaser that they are planning renovations.

This is a hotel which deserves a renovation -- it's well located, the rooms are spacious, but it hasn't seen a capital update in years. It's like Hot Tub Time Machine -- and that was fine given that we were three families with teen+ kids travelling together to ski.

The beds could use a bit of an update, the room decor a serious update, but the price reflects the fact that the owner hasn't spent a lot of money on the capital side. So, this is a definite case of you get what you pay for, and we have nary a complaint about that.

The hotel is incredibly well located, close to Mt. Orford, the rooms are large, the shower is fine, and it's quiet. As my dad used to say, once you close your eyes, it's all the same (except for the fact the bed was kind of beyond its best before date).

So if you're looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head, this place works. It may not be as much of a bargain once the new owners do their work on it, but it may just be a nicer place to sleep.

Had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. Nothing fancy but a nice location .Has a swimming pool and a dining room . Rooms very quiet no noise from adjoining rooms . Decor a bit dated however very clean .entertainment at certain times. I found internet access adequate.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms have 2 doors on e to the inside corridor and one to outside

I was attending the TarlosFest wedding weekend and it was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I felt like I was staying in a good friend's home. The pool was much appreciated too by the children who attended the wedding.

We planned our wedding weekend during Labour Day weekend 2016 in this hotel. To do that we had to take over the hotel and have access to their amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating to all our requests. Family and friends who stayed with us were very happy and the weekend was a complete success. We cannot thank the hotel enough for all their help.

We had a great time here at our friends' wedding weekend. We enjoyed it so much we stayed another night after most of the wedding party left. Very relaxing, comfortable beds, and wonderful friendly staff. It's not a luxury place and the internet didn't work well outside of the lobby, but it's reasonably priced and the perfect place to decompress from city life.
