The hotel is located in a perfect place, enjoying all the amenities and wonderful shops and restaurants of Malton whilst being a stone's throw from the North York Moors beautiful countryside. The service we received was generally excellent. My only criticism was the room felt a little dated, especially as we had opted for a Deluxe Room so I think I was expecting a bit more in terms of an actual lounge area and dressing gowns, as advertised. But overall, the food was fantastic, service excellent and all around an excellent stay. We'll be back.

The general manager is a delight and nothing is too much trouble. I’d especially also like to mention our dinner waiter I don’t remember his name but he was also South African a credit to the establishment.

Food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner.

We took our 2 mini daschunds and they were treated brilliantly!

Delightful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Very well situated in edge of town centre with views of countryside. Sadly the weather was not warm enough to spend time outside in their charming outdoor space but I’ll be back to do that. Like many places at the moment, there were slightly fewer staff than ideal in the evening but both nights I ate there I very much enjoyed the food. Malton is a nice little town and is within reach of other interesting places. I’m sure I’ll visit again.
