First time at this restaurant and from the moment we walked in the staff were all very pleasant. We sat at the bar and caught the happy hour specials while we waited on the rest of our guest. The bartenders were all very friendly. Once we sat at our table, the menu was "family style" meaning we shared everything on the restaurant weeks menu. We were all a little apprehensive at first but I have to say, I think we all left the table full. (It was 7 guys) Our waiter was fantastic, she was very informative and checked back on us just enough. I will go back to try the regular menu at some point. Overall, great experience.

lunch here was pretty good. we got the cornbread to share. wasnt the best ive had, it was a bit dry, even with all the butter melted on top. i had the catfish sandwich which was amazing, probably the best ive had. it was perfectly breaded, and not soggy or greasy. their fries were delicious, they came with a spicy ketchup. my friend had the fried chicken sandwich and he very much enjoyed it as well.

WOWOWOW. Food was absolutely top notch! Best bacon I’ve ever had and the French toast was BEYOND amazing. Only reason for 4 stars versus 5 was because the cocktails weren’t great. Not bad though and def not a reason to pass this place up!!

Succotash was recommended to me by a coworker, who knew I was going to be visiting the National Harbor, MD area. I made reservations on a Friday evening while staying 2-blocks from the restaurant. I was happy to have a 4:45 p.m. reservation, and was seated right away! My waiter was very attentive, and helpful, letting me know that I didn't have to order a salad because the portion size of my order of catfish was going to be plenty! I am so glad I listened to him! I enjoyed every bite of the catfish, bacon macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and cornbread! The peach tea was delicious as well served in the most exquisite glass! I was so impressed with how delicious the food was, that I got an order of ribs to go! I had enough bacon mac and cheese and cornbread left from my first meal to take with me to go, but had to order another side of collard greens to go with the meal I would be eating the following day in my hotel room. And let me tell you that I was ou-ing and ah-ing, with every bite the following day. I felt like I had a customized homemade meal made with love, especially for me! I was smiling all day long! Couldn't get over how delicious the meal was that I had just eaten! If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be going back! All of my food choices were totally delicious!

We were a bigger group. The tasting menu that was served was plenty and everybody found a lot of different dishes to their taste. Food contains a lot of meat and is heavy though. Nice wine selection.
Service was very flexible and we managed to also cater to difficult dietary needs.
Definitely a place to recommend.
