Spent a night here. Also stayed here in 2008. The change was noticeable. I think the property was sold, in order tp construct high rise condos, but something must have fell through. It is quite sad. The views are great, but the place is a bit downtrodden. Seems like it is an afterthought, and not an ongoing concern.

Sad, such a beautiful property.

A wonderful full equipped cabin, great for families, and excellent barbecue area. It has one room with air conditioner, the beds are quite well. It has a also a good hammock for you to lay down. All the area is really gorgeous.

This is a lovely, old Panamanian setting with cabinas from street level down to the beach. The landscaping represents old Panama and every cabina has a hammock & barbecue with outdoor seating. This is perfect for families with children! This is located a 1.5 hour drive from Panama City.

The cabinas were clean and simple. It took 2 days to get the broken toilet seat replaced and TV cable working. The WIFI was inoperative for a week.. Though the staff can be indifferent, housekeeping was stellar. Enjoy this property until Dec. 29th, as it has been sold and developers are changing the Pacific Coastline (ex. no public beach access). This property does not honor Ley 6 Jubliado savings, just in case you think you qualify.

Room Tip: Choose the Ocean Cabinas, newer and on the beach!

Las Sirenas is just lovely! You have two (great) choices when you stay there. The Bluff-top Cottages have a wonderful outdoor sitting and BBQ area and they look out over flowering gardens to views of the Pacific below. The Beachside units are exactly that -- you walk right out side your door onto a pristine white beach that goes as far as you can see in both directions. Either way, most of the time you will have the beach practically to yourself! Unfortunately, this property will close in June 2013, so go soon!

Room Tip: Both are great, just your personal preference -- high on the bluff with a nice, fresh breeze or right on the beach. Lots of privacy either way.

The setting is so wonderful that the fact the units are showing their age becomes secondary. I love being so close to the beach - you can watch the pelicans diving for fish from the patio. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. This was our 4th stay and I'm really sorry it's been sold and other properties on the beach are being developed. Go soon because the area won't have the same character in another year or two. Getting there by bus is easy. Best to buy groceries in Coronado because the local store is really limited.

Room Tip: Ask for #11, closest to the beach.
