This place is a no frills great value cafe serving the best bacon sandwiches and full English for miles around. Clean and bright and a lovely way to end a ramble. The meat from the farm shop is superb. Top quality. I always buy a rib of the home reared beef for Christmas and it really can't be bettered. Service is cheerful and friendly. We need more local enterprises of this calibre. The owners take a pride in the cattle they rear and the produce they sell. The cafe is rightly doing well.

Well laid out, friendly counter staff, varied menu with variety of indoor & outdoor seating. Moderate pricing for cafes visited by cyclists

Spacious toilets , which thankfully are suited to all users ( no long queues for mes and no one in women's is a particular problem)

Only down side was being told to fill our drinking water bottles in the toilets which is not hygienic, though others thankfully had theirs filled from a clean tap

On our way to Ilkley and stopped for a light lunch, cooked fresh we had bacon and black pudding in a bun, OK not such a light lunch on the amount you get, with a mug of tea. Excellent value. Will be calling in here whenever we pass. Bought a piece of Victoria sponge cake to eat later that was wonderful.

We were just passing on our way to Kilnsey. Called in for a cup of tea and a snack.
This is an excellent place. The service was good, everything is home cooked and served freshly done. The farm shop had lots of nice looking meat, and also a good selection of sauces, jams and biscuits.

Had heard about this cafe a while ago, but is a bit out of the way. However a recent early morning trip to Harrogate gave me the chance to pop in on the return journey.

The shop and cafe are fairly basic really. But the full English was very tasty. Being picky, I'd say presentation could be upped a bit and WHY don't more places warm the plate (when appropriate)?

But I'll certainly drop in again when passing and I must give the shop a try.
