I stayed in Room 8. It has a self-catering kitchenette which was great for us. It also had its own balcony with a fantastic view of the sea. However, it's at the front of the hotel on the main road between Montego Bay and Negril which made it constantly noisy during rush hour and beyond. I stayed for two weeks, but as a writer needed somewhere a little more quiet to write.
Warm, friendly and helpful staff helped to make up for any shortcomings in the building. The breakfasts were great, and the freshly cooked jerk chicken was to die for.
