While staying at Grand Paradise we ventured up here one afternoon to check it out and make dinner reservations. The good...awesome views. The bad. Really slow service and it wasn't even busy. $12 for two very average cubre libres made with cheap rum. It took over half an hour just to get our bill. With our experience we decided against dinner reservations. Heard from others at the resort that it wasn't worth the price.

Visited the restaurant while we were staying at Grand Paradise Samana on a walking tour doing some geocaching. We had heard the reviews about El Cabito, and that it was a fantastic place. Upon arriving in DR, we were told that the restaurant is under new management. We only stopped for a drink, so I can't comment on the food. The drinks were fairly good, although very expensive, even by Canadian standards. We paid $13 US for two juice and rum drinks, with the bar rum, not even something special.

The view truly is indescribable. It's worth visiting just for the view, but be prepared for an expensive bill.

El Cabito is an awesome little place on a cliff. We love going there when we are at Grand Paradise just to check out the view and have a beer

Went here based on other reviews on TripAdvisor. Place was gorgeous in a very rustic way.

Food was overpriced, and if you don't have your own mode of transportation getting there and back will add more.

Vegetarian options - a bland pasta.

We watched Whales in the bay below while we were waiting for our meal. No visit to Las Galeras would be complete without a visit to this iconic restaurant.
