If you're looking for a nice and relaxing location far from the massive all including hotels that's the place to be.
Located in a tropical garden full of palm, where you can almost only hear the birds and the sea.
Really nice atmosphere.

This isn't a Marriott or an all inclusive resort; don't expect lightning fast wifi and 50" TVs in the rooms. There isn't 24/hr room service and you can't just walk into town. This is a place to relax and disconnect in nature. This is a small, boutique hotel far removed from any hustle and bustle.

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with views at every turn. There is a small, private beach at the bottom of the hill. There is an infinity pool with ocean views in the middle of the property with a bar adjacent. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the service by the staff and owners was second to none.
The restaurant on site had a great menu at fair prices and there is plenty of liquor in the bar to keep anyone content. We stayed 2 nights after whale watching in Samana; the hotel is a 20 minute drive from Samana City.

If you want to get away from everything and spend a few nights in actual paradise where you fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves and you're serviced by owners and staff that treat you like family, this is the place for you!

Room Tip: you can request a room with an ocean view

My boyfriend and I spent a few days at this charming boutique hotel and truly enjoyed our stay. The bungalows, the swimming pool, the breakfast area and the dining room are very peaceful, quiet, and offer spectacular views over the ocean and palm trees. The breakfast is good, the staff is extremely nice and helpful and the cocktails at the swimming pool are a must. Our favorite hotel in Dominican Republic :)
Note: You should rent a car / scooter and visit the beaches around, they're gorgeous

We spent almost a week in one of the rooms of this lovely boutique hotel held by Delphine and Jérome. We felt at home thanks to the warmth of this extraordinary couple, their precious advises and the work they do on a daily basis for their clients. Thanks to them we discovered a large part of the Samana peninsula and even learned a few steps of batchata, the local dance. The hotel is set up in a great location: View on the Samana bay, swimming pool, fantastic terraced tropical gardens... Their restaurant is a must-taste with great cuisine supervised by Jérôme himself. We can only recommend this hotel for those who wish to leave aside resorts and spend some time with warm and caring hosts.

This little hotel is in a magnificent setting, The grounds and pool are lovely. It is set on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean, We stayed in the bungalow furthest down the cliff and closet to the water -5B. It was secluded and peaceful. However, you really need to be in good shape to navigate the stone stairway leading to the room. It is quite steep. The breakfast room and restaurant have magnificent views but the breakfast was extremely disappointing and dinner in the restaurant was mediocre. WiFi is not available in the rooms and is quite spotty on the balconies. The plumbing also had issues. Despite these issues I couldn't have asked for a more lovely private room, terrace, and view,

Hello

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on our property.
Yes, we are on a hill, so there are stairs, but what a view!
We are sorry that you do not enjoy the free continental breakfast, and the French-Dominican cuisine.
As far as the wifi, we apologize for the signal problems encountered directly from the orange supplier, which unfortunately are not our responsibility.

Thank you again for your comment, good continuation.

cordially

The Gérente
