We celebrated my birthday with my four sons for 3 days and two nights at Paras Beach Resort (May 19 to 21)... All i can say about this resort is superb! Very tight security. I saw 4 to 5 security guards moving around and checking the areas assigned to them. Their resto is clean and the staff are all friendly even the staff at the bar. Our room is so clean, the bed was perfect even the linens. All white! and i love them. Their service was Toyota Hi Ace white, was so clean. The drivers are very polite! (hello kuya Rik-rik & kuya Rico) Thank you from all of us! Hope to see you again soon!

Room Tip: best view on white island, and the sunset!

It's not that great, but it's good enough. Beds are comfortable and scenery's beautiful. It's actually one of the best you could get in Camigiuin since the island isn't that developed yet. Their food in the restaurant isn't so good, though. I also lost three items of clothing and received no assistance at all from the management. Security needs to be upgraded.

The good news is that the resort is undergoing a renovation program. The bad news is that the garden units are probably going to be redone last. In the meantime, you will have to contend with mosquitoes, poor sound insulation, and dripping faucets. The Garden rooms and queen beds are spacious if dated. But the furniture has not been updated since eons ago.

Room Tip: Might be a good idea to inspect the regular (multi-story building units and he garden units) before deciding on which room to select.

Stayed at this hotel for two day in my 4-day trip to Camiguin. The other hotel was Balai sa baibai. We wish we had stayed at the later. The biggest complaint was the construction - that should have been mentioned someplace - on their website, etc. Our room was near the construction area - they are remodeling their lobby. We were told the construction would end at around 5 PM, but did not actually happen until around 9 pm. So, they lied to us. If you are tired (eg. after touring the island all day, forge about taking a nap in the afternoon - it will not happen.) The room smelled moldy and musty- sometimes almost unbearable. The rooms are very outdated and cleaning of the rooms are suspects. The bathrooms are disgusting. Wish the room had a fridge. We ate breakfast at the hotel - wasn't worth it - as they were expensive and not too good. This is more like a motel - our room was on the other edge of the "compound" right next to a side street where street vendors sold souvenirs - not very slightly. The employees don't appear to be happy. The hotel had internet, but the where our room was, we could not access the internet. On several occasions, we had to have our television as it would loss its signals. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Disappointed- would not recommend

Stayed at the Paras Beach Resort from March 22 until March 24. Customer service was ok but could be better. The pool is very nice. The room we were in was in bad shape and needed a renovation. The room and bathroom needed to be cleaned better as well as there was static when watching the TV. They are in the process of building a new lobby but need to focus on their rooms. For the value it is overpriced
