Everything is perfect. Location, accommodation, service... The Vila is in the middle of the forest close to the Pokljuka biathlon centre, but not far away from Bohinj or Bled. The service is personalized and attentive without being pretentious. The food is home made and delicious. I didn't find it necessary to dine out throughout my stay. Definitely a "gem" and very good value for money.

This was our first stop on our trip. It couldn't have been better. The setting is beautiful and rooms very spacious and comfortable. Ideally situated for those liking to hike, yet accessible to Bled.

However, the charm of this B & B is the proprietor, Tadej. He makes you feel at home, fluent in many languages, offers helpful tips, and an outstanding cook.

This is definitely the place for those who are seeking a location that offers tons of charm and personal service.

Im not one to write reviews but Vila Triglav deserves to be raved about!
From the moment my boyfriend and I arrived we felt at home. Tadej, who owns Vila Triglav with his family, goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. Every morning he makes breakfast which includes homemade Slovenian options allowing you to get a taste for Slovenian life. He recommends places to go and goes out of his way to make sure you have the best holiday (he even lent us a sledge!)
For me, the location was perfect. I wanted to be in the mountains with lots of snow (its easy to get around, they know how to deal with snow!) It was about a 20 minute drive to Bled so you do have to be prepared to drive a lot.
Our room actaully features in the video on the website, it was spotless and had everything we needed.
The spa was just amazing, especially the hot tub, a really good opportunity to relax.
I cannot recommend Vila Triglav more!!

Tucked away in the forests south of the Triglav National Park, this little hotel is a real gem for anyone who likes the outdoors and good personal service, whilst still enjoying quality accommodation and food.
We stopped for one night last summer at Vila Triglav at the end of a 60 day, 1200 kilometre trek across the Alps. We could not have found a better place to rest our tired limbs. Beautifully equipped modern rooms, excellent home cooking and a host for whom nothing was too much trouble (including getting up early the following morning to start up the wood-fired hot tub for us again)!
The addition of the sauna and outdoor hot tub area has been sympathetically done to fit in with the forest, making it a very relaxing experience. We left feeling rejuvenated and promising ourselves we would go back and use it as a base for a trekking and cycling holiday.
Definitely in our top 2 of 60 places stayed in across the Alps last summer.
