Ideal property for relaxing in the quiet countryside or visiting nearby towns and seaside. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Open plan so easy to move around. Very comfortable bed. Roomy wet room. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of power points. Easy parking. Lovely garden with bird feeders. Double doors looking out onto the garden. The Blue Boar pub in walking distance - 1 1/2 miles down quiet lane. Excellent Sunday roast.

We have been coming here for a number of years and are always so happy here. Cindy and Paul really go out of their way to ensure their guests are made welcome. The cottage is defintely not a bland rental. I'm a full-time wheelchair user and have everything I need here. The small garden looking over the pond helps give a really homely, relaxing feel. The lanes are lovely to explore on foot or bike. There are plenty of places to visit from locally at Thornham with its walks and The Four Horseshoes pub, to Bury, Southwold or Anglesey Abbey.

We spent a long weekend in the kingfisher cottage with our dog Boycie.
We loved the escape from our busy lives back home! It was lovely to just relax and not have to worry about anything.
There’s a couple a lovely dog walks around the cottage and lots of things to do a drive away.
The cottage had everything we needed, the garden is lovely (although Boycie couldn’t really go out there as he would have tried to eat the ducks from the pond for dinner)
There is an enclosed car park out the front which was easier for us as we just let Boycie run around.

Cindy and Paul were lovely and friendly and made you feel at home rather than ‘their’ property.

Would recommend to other couples looking for a relaxing break.

I recently stayed in one of the cottages and found it ideal with everything I needed, close parking to the front door as well as plenty of space and privacy. The bedroom is large enough to move around with ample storage, the kitchen has everything needed and clean. The bathroom is spacious with well placed grab rails if needed.
Situated in a tranquil area with a private back garden overseeing the pond which is always full of wildlife.
Would be happy to recommend this cottage to family and friends.

Happy to help and pleased to see that the cottage worked for an unassisted wheelchair user.

Such a lovely setting. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage was perfect for my husband's mobility issues and was clean and tidy. Lovely comfortable beds slept perfectly. Cindy and Paul couldn't have been better hosts. Will definitely visit again.
