What a choice! Sunday afternoon dinner was a hands down a great choice. My husband and I spent a festival day in Lucignano where we honeymooned 15 years ago. We were greeted by a friendly staff who escorted us into the dining room. The first thing that impressed me was to see the owner participating the the service and working well with his staff. We were pleased to know that they had a gluten free menu. We chose an area bottle of wine. I ordered a garden salad and my husband had the truffle, asparagus, egg and fried parm salad. He raved about it. It was very different and the blend of ingredients delightful and light. For the second course he had the rabbit, with sweet beet sauce, carrots and smoked potatoes. Another win. I had a gluten free pasta with ragu sauce. They even brought gluten free crackers and roll. I must make note of the balsamic they used. It was fantastic. We indulged ourselves and ate everything on our plates. A restaurant of this caliber deserves a five star rating.
