Excellent value for money

Review of Ruswarp Hall
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 12 Jun 2018via mobile
Had an enjoyable overnight stay in this historic hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a good hearty breakfast. Our stay was excellent value for money and will definitely return. There is an easy picturesque walk along the river to Whitby.

2 night break to get away from everything and discovered a true hidden gem. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and great shower. Lots of choice for breakfast and all ingredients excellent quality.
Staff are great nothing too much trouble for them and happy to share lots of local knowledge with you.

We loved Ruswarp Hall it was quirky and quaint with modern twists. The staff were top class and the breakfasts were scrumptious. The location of the hotel is great for sightseeing. Ruswarp is a quiet village with a lively pub!

Room tip: All aspects of this hotel were good vto

i felt very welcomed by lizzie and stacey, slept well, great breakfast beautiful house, a perfect stay a choice of two walks into whitby and a half hourly bus service if you don't fancy the walk back and don't forget the steam trains.

Room tip: rooms at the back look over a spacious garden

Lovely hotel , Stayed in room 16 attic room, full of charactor. Comfy Beds very clean. Shower was lovely and powerful and right temperature. Breakfast you let them know the night before what you like from menu good selection, and how you like it cooked. Breakfast was very nice perfect. Has an Honesty bar which seemed quite different , lovely cosy room. Beautiful gardens. Lovely people with knowledge of the local area , Nice position where you had a lovely walk at back of hotel into Whitby , some stairs and hills to get through but not too steep. took us about 40 minutes to get into town as stopping to take photos.

Had a great stay at Ruswarp Hall. Staff very informative about the local area, breakfast AMAZING (all from local producers), perfect location just 20 minute walk along the river to Whitby. Garden perfect and secluded on a sunny day. I always look to stay in historic buildings and this dates back to 1603, so was perfect. Booked again to try out in winter with some friends.
