I am currently at the hotel with my cousin. I have been several times before, but what a surprise this time!. They have upgraded the rooms giving it a fresh look as well as new aircon. The breakfast has improved immensely, offering an English and continental choice. Fantastic gym.
Thank you to the family Ricardo and Miriam and to the reception staff helping with information.(Marco)
We look forward to enjoying the rest of our stay.
If you are coming to this area I can highly recommend Nibaru hotel
You need a car to enjoy all the close and fabulous beaches.

We had a fantastic week stay at hotel nibaru! Was very clean and I have OCD so this is very important to me! Well mannered staff at reception and breakfast. Lots of fresh local produce at breakfast! Central location. Free parking right outside our room! We stayed in room 312 and had perfect view of the random fire works from our balcony! Couldn't fault our stay! Thank you for making us feel comfortable and making our holiday enjoyable!!!

Thanks

We booked this hotel for a 3 night stay in September and used it as a base from which to explore the Costa Smeralda. Be in no doubt, this area is expensive both in terms of lodging and dining. We wanted something in a lower price bracket and were attracted by the value this hotel appeared to offer within the 4 star range. Location wise, it is close to some good beaches but there's little within walking distance - you'll need a car to get to most places and taxis in the area are very expensive. Expect to pay to park at most beaches. The hotel itself offers good parking, much of which is covered to limit the impact of the heat of the sun. The reception and bar are housed in the main building and are light and airy and make a good first impression. The room we were allocated was in one of the older blocks surrounding the pool albeit with a window facing an adjacent empty piece of ground. There are clearly newer blocks which presumably house the more expensive rooms and suites and these are located away from the pool on the other side of the parking. The primary disappointment for us was that the room was very dated and spartan. It was clean enough but not welcoming, the paintwork was chipped and flaking, the colour scheme very 1980's. The plastic toothbrush holders looked of similar vintage and the soap dish (which was broken) was similarly so. The shower in the bathroom would have been of reasonable size were it not for the additional internal moulding that turned it into a massage type shower with additional overhead and side mounted jets. All this meant there was very little room to actually turn around in it to soap and clean yourself.

Breakfast was the second disappointment; it's a buffet style arrangement of meats/cheeses/yogurts/breads and cereals with occasional pastries and cakes and some fruit. There are assorted teas, and coffee could be ordered from the staff. Sadly the breakfast was uninspiring, the coffee was very bad and cooked options such as eggs were an additional charge. I'm sure the newer rooms were better equipped and
more appealing but the breakfast would be the same for all; given all of this I'm not sure that this hotel merits 4 stars for all occupants and I'd say it's probably worth only 3. Given what you pay in the area it was quite cheap but for what it was I felt it was less of a bargain. Let me say though that the staff were all very nice and English was widely spoken.

Reception and pool areas are nice.
Rooms are very poor. Furniture is ageing and very basic. Very old style airco and hairdryers are wall mounted (probably more than 25 years old). Breakfast ingredients are very basic and quite honestly not reflective of a 4 star hotel. Only one waitress at breakfasy so you have to wait quite a long time to get served your espresso or cappuccino. Smokers haven as there are ashtrays all over the place including rooms, reception & breakfast area. However if you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful in a nice location then this hotel fits the bill. I tried to get a 45min extention for check out which was refused. In return I decided to pay the bill with Amex instead of Bancomat so that the 45 minute extention refusal cost the hotel a 5% commission.

The hotel is beautiful with a lovely staff, but the room is not so great as the extern area. The double bed was terrible for a couple and the room has not been cleaned, they just change the towels and make the bed. Maybe there are other options with better accommodations in the same price.
